With Huo Siyu's approval, Shen Li no longer had to sneak around, and her time became relatively free. An Chushi had already informed the director, who arranged for all of Shen Li's scenes to be filmed first, followed by the other actors, and then they would move on to the location shooting.
Shen Li didn't have many scenes to shoot in the studio. For a big-budget spectacle that showed off stunts, most of the filming was outside. She got into character quickly, hardly ever needing a retake, and she worked with top-tier actors—from leading men to supporting roles, many of whom had won Oscars—the filming process went smoothly.
"Looks like I need to learn how to ride a horse," Shen Li murmured to herself, holding the script. There were quite a few horseback scenes. "The master has returned," said the maid.
