The next day
Early in the morning, after breakfast, Xuexue went to the new house for a visit and saw that it was essentially completed. All that was left was to build a surrounding wall, and then they could move in.
Seeing that there wasn't much to do, she simply returned to the Li Family, picked up some farming tools, and headed to the fields to loosen up the mud, preparing to cultivate watermelon seedlings.
"Wife, wife, why didn't you call me when you went to the fields?" From a distance, Big Bull, barefooted and with pants rolled up to his knees, approached in the full attire of a farmer, carrying farming tools over his shoulder.
Big Bull's arrival surprised Xuexue, and when he drew close, she asked, "Weren't you supposed to watch over the mason masters finishing their work at the house?"
"It's all done, and since there was nothing else, I came to help you with the farming." Big Bull grinned, his teeth shining brightly.
