Chapte1 3: Chīsana Ankā and Jace Lee
Upon reaching Chīsana Ankā, Venus found a village in turmoil. The townspeople were living in fear under the oppressive rule of the Marines, who had set up a base in the center of the village. Jace Lee, the fighter Venus sought, was imprisoned and scheduled for execution by Lieutenant Goroduem.
Disguising himself among the villagers, Venus gathered information and formulated a plan to rescue Jace. He learned that Jace was a formidable martial artist known for his unyielding spirit and strength. The Marines had captured him because he had dared to defy their authority and protect the villagers.
The night before the execution, Venus infiltrated the Marine base. Using the shadows to his advantage, he slipped past guards and reached the prison cells. There, he found Jace, battered but unbroken.
"Who are you?" Jace asked, his voice hoarse but steady.
"I'm Venus. I'm here to free you," Venus replied, using his ring's power to unlock the cell door. "We need to move quickly."
Jace nodded, his eyes filled with determination. Together, they fought their way out of the base, evading Marines and using the darkness as their ally. As they escaped into the night, Venus felt a sense of hope. He had found an ally in Jace, and their journey was only beginning.
