"....Not guilty sir...your honor." Cameron said unbothered.
The judge smirked as he ran his eyes on the files presented to him. The hall became rowdy, as everyone began murmuring, voicing out their opinions as tbe judge as the judge hit his gavel on his table to lessen the noise from the audience as he was about to pass his judgement.
"Evidences have been presented, the witnesses have voiced out and admist everything been said, played and read, they all lead to one thing. Off all the witnesses presented by Mr Cameron's attorney, one of them somehow testified against Mr Cameron. Attorney Robinson presented us with 4 solid witnesses, paperwork evidences and a footage to support his case, and all still leads to one thing. All evidences provided here today, leads to the clear fact that Mr Cameron starved, harassed, humiliated and abused his wife, both in private and in the public eye.
Thereby, on this day being the 20th day of October, I hereby plead Mr Cameron Edwardo guilty of domestic abuse and sentence him to 15 years imprisonment with hard labor. Mr Cameron and Mrs Lexa should be present in court tomorrow to sign the final divorce papers, as they will both be set maritally free legally." The judge concluded.
The hall went quite as everyone arose as the judge dismissed them and walked out.
"Noo!, Noo....Your honour!, Mr Attorney, you can't do this to me. I'll pay whatsoever you desire your honor, you can't lock me up...Your honour!... Dad please help me, I'm not guilty...Dad please, Mom do something!!" Cameron on top of his voice as the police officers held him by both hands to take him back.
"Jace...you...you will pay dearly, you came into my perfect life and ruined it...you will pay miserably I promise you." Cameron added before been dragged off.
Mrs Edwardo bowed her head in shame while her husband went to console Cameron. Her doubts were unfortunately cleared as she confirmed her instincts were right all along. Her son was indeed abusive and a woman-beater. How he turned out to be a beast she couldn't tell, he has finally succeeded in bringing shame to their home.

Was she dreaming?, Did she hear correctly?. She turned her eyes around as the hall went rowdy with people jubiliating , screaming and shouting. She could see Cameron been dragged away by the police as he struggled with them.
"We made it Princess!, Finally, you have been freed". Jace's voice came in interrupting her thoughts.
It was indeed true, she is now free!. She could feel the already gathered tears in Her eyes flowing freely as she saw the limitless joy and happiness all over Jace's face. He grabbed her and hugged her tightly like she was about to disappear. She could finally feel peace rushing back to her as she could perceive victory all over the hall. As she watched Cameron been dragged off, it felt like the invisible shackles that held her suddenly started breaking off, setting her free.
It was a dream come true, Lexa's dream come true!..
