In the familiar meeting room. It was just ten minutes that had passed when the door were flung open once again. This time, it was a man. He did not hesitate or wait for permission from the leaders. He could already tell they wanted him to speak.
"Bad news. One person has managed to give feedback and said that it was only a single person who has been doing this. He is currently killing the remaining 150. It is approximated that he will make contact with the base after five minutes," he said and took steps back.
His words were like acid being poured into their ears. It was difficult to believe but the leaders knew better than anyone here just how possible that was. If their assumptions were right, this was the true Dan the assassin.
"Leave only twenty here. The rest of you should go and take care of him. I am not ready for any failures," the red haired leader said and the two elites in the room took out everyone but they were stopped.
" One of you ahould remain here," the brown haired said.
The two looked at each other and the one with white hair was left. The other one with blue hair who was a lady led the rest of them put and gave command for every one to follow her.

"How long before contact?" One of the squad leaders of the youths asked. They had been running at top speed for the past few minutes. They had to make it before the meeting ended.
It was such a good chance to kill some of their leaders and also a large number of them. They were moving without a formation but they were orderly and vigilant.
"We have around one hour," another person said. It was not easy to make out her face from the dark night.
Everyone heard they had one hour and their heart beat in excitement. It was not everyday they were give a chance to kill the enemy. To participate in this mission, they even had to have a competition to rank the top 100 so that they could undertake the mission.
They had complete faith that they were going to succeed after months of practice and training. Each of them had their stats nearing six. It truly was a force to reckon with.
Even when they were told to fall back if the mission became deathly, it was just a joke. They knew just how strong they were. They continued leaping from building to building and those on the ground did not lose out in terms of speed as they trailed behind in almost the same speed.

As for Dan... He was having the time of his life. He actaully had an easier time fighting scattered opponents than those who came in groups. At the moment, all he had to do was to dodge and not waste his bullets blasting their bullets.
Dan was very agile even more than Marx could achieve with all his stats combined. He was like a gymnast rotating and coiling his body in impossible ways. He was actually doing it too fast that one could think that he would twist his body and snap it.
But the fact that he could dodge and counter sent them shivers as more dropped. Few moments he was in the air and other moments he was walking on the walls like they were the ground.
Doing back flips, front flips and side flips everynow and then and still as the bullets rained, none of them got to reach him. As for him, all he had to do was to pull the trigger and a person would drop dead with a headshot.
Well, that was what it appeared like for no one saw him aim. Also, the shocking part being the fact that his pistols did not deplete the bullets. From their perspective, his pistol had endless supply.
But had they been careful or in the least, observant, they could see the empty pistol magazines of the ground. Dan's clothes were like they were made up of magazines. He could shoot the whole day and his bullets would still not be depleted.
As for him changing the magazines, even Marx was yet to witness for it happened too fast that even a blink of an eye was slow. All that one would see were the magazines dropping every now and then as bodies dropped in the same way.
Not long later, one could see the dead bodies around 70 of them dead from headshots with bullets wounds. As for the other number of 80, they just had wounds that appeared like they had been burnt.
Still, they were headshots. Many of these bodies were on the rooftops and for those on the ground, they had been turned into lumps of meat after hitting the ground. And just like that, the first group of a thousand had been taken down.
"I guess that that was all for the first group. Lets now go find their leaders," Marx said as he continued forward.
"Yoo kid. You really are something," Dan said as he continued forward. If smoking was legal Dan would be a perfect smoker.
Marx scanned for the heat signatures. He was shocked about the next line up. It was very possible that they were going to take some damage here. At the buildings close to the base, they were all occupied.
Every window had at least two people waiting. Then there were those on the roof tops. There were those on the ground lined up in formations of ten at most. Marx realized that he was not going to get the chance to use the super bullets.
There were three elites at the entrance seated on a bench. Marx informed Dan of the formation and he told Can about his plan. Dan had no objections actually. The kid was trying to keep him safe.
He wanted to first take out those on the roof and after that, Dan would join in the fight to take fown the ones on the ground. Marx looked at few mags he had not used. These were bullets for the sniper rifle.
He had only 100 rounds. He had not expected that he was going to have to use the sniper rifle for this mission. Marx climbed around 600 meters aboveground. With this distance, they were never going to know where he was.
Especially when he was in the air camouflaged by the dark night, they were going to die without fighting back. Marx examined the use of the sniper rifle in his Dream World and he smiled after the tutorial.
He aimed and the ones he wanted to take out first were the ones hidden in the buildings. The first bullet tore through the air at a speed not many could see. The person was looking through the window with half his face hidden by the wall.
He just registered a huge head pain as he blacked out. His neighbour was about to make a call but he too died the same way with a headshot. Marx did not miss. With the large number and the many windows, none of them could anticipate who was next.
He just picked a random window and killed the two or three in the room. By the time they realized that they were under attack, Marx had taken at least twenty. Yet, he still took five more before the order was passed that those in the windows to take cover.
They thought that he was after the ones in the windows for they were the only ones he could see but if only they knew that they were all open. Marx smiled as he aimed at the person giving orders.
Surprisingly, it was not one of the elites. He was still setting up his formation and speaking nonstop when became still and fell on his knees and then sideways dead. This came as a shock to them all. They just realized there was a sniper.
And for this sniper, he did not care about their location as he took them all down. The ones on the rooftops were the ones who were completely disadvantaged. They had no place to take cover.
To make matters worse, their strategist had been taken down. Or say their brain. Now, they were just stray sheep acting on their own. They fell one by one. It was impossible to tell who was next as Marx did not aim at only one building.
He would kill those from a building then go for those at a building meters away. This way, they were more vigilant and lowered their guards completey. Marx checked and he had only thirty rounds remaining.
After realizing how great the sniper rifle was, he was regretting leaving few bullets for it. He sighed as he continued his one sided assault until his bullets were finished. He spoke to Dan and informed him that his rifle bullets had been depleted.
Dan realized that it was time to act. Marx knew the perfect shooting range for his gun was 200-100 meters. He did not want to reveal himself so soon and he stood at 200 meters. His gun had just been fully charged.
It came tuned to 45⁰ as he aimed at those on the rooftops. It seemed that they had realized that he was in the air but they did not realize his exact location. He would aim at a group and kill the few from the group and give his exact location.
They would then fire bullets at where they thought he was standing. Their bullets were not accurate but with their large numbers at least one would hit. But unluckily, Marx was no longer at this place. He was now at another group taking them down.
He was using the guerilla strategy. The ones on the roofs died a death they regretted but had no time to. Those on the ground were wondering what the ones on the rooftops were shooting at in the air. Had they lost it in their unplaced fear?
How could they expect someone to stand in the air? The three elites just shook their heads as they gave up on those guys who had lost their minds. They were now in charge of the strategy as they watched the one with with the cone shaped bamboo hat marching towards them.
Without warning, the green haired gave his command and they all opened fire not caring about those on the rooftops anymore...
