Chapter 68 - Chapter 68. Departure 1

Marx visited the training ground the following day. He was shocked to find that there was every youth here. When they saw him, they all paused and looked at him. They had complex gazes.

They knew that he could kill them by just raising his fist. They feared him for this and most of them made way for him to go forward. Marx sighed when he saw their reaction. Hard headed guy but easily succumb to fear.

It was Ram who came and excitedly and placed his hands on his shoulders. He then led him forward and they started chatting. This shocked them all. Didn't rumours say that they had fought?

Also when they saw them acting like buddies and laugh, the tension in the air was eased. They resumed to their training routine. Marx received guidance from Ram. His progress was fast and he had picked up the secret from their fast punches.

When he mastered it, he would throw a punch and those staring would not even see it before he retracted it. He was twice as fast as he was before. He could also feel that he was able to channel more strength from his body after learning about stances.

He once punched causing a slight wind at the edge of the fist. Those who saw it shivered. It was impossible to master both speed and strength. Many focused on speed. But Marx just learned both and they were sure that the wind could blow their hair.

The finally ended and the atmosphere was no longer tensed. Instead, they had come to know more about each other and apologized to him. Marx told them that he took none of it to heart but they had to make sure to uphold their morals.

The day ended with laughter and the following day Marx decided to train with kicks. He had strong skills but he usually channeled little energy from them. He had come to understand that when he felt he had comprehended the fist.

When he checked with the system, he had found out that he was now able to use 80% of its power. It was a huge progress for him and he was proud of it. Ram came to him and started showing him their kick techniques.

Marx was intent in listening and no word passed him. If he could access more power from his skills, he was ready to sacrifice some time. He took few minutes to learn their techniques but he practiced them for the rest of the day.

What excited him most was the tornado kick. It could sweep your opponents from each side. It was like spinning in the air making a 360⁰ kick. Marx trained on it most and by the end pf the day he could spin at least three times.

"It seems that our techniques were not made for us but for you. It is frustrating that you are learning what we took weeks to learn in minutes. For us who can do the tornado kick can only rotate once," Ram sighed and so did the rest who were observing.

Comparing yourself with him would lead one to willow in depression and self depreciation.

"Its just that they are easy to learn. They also help me draw out my full potential," Marx said. The guys wanted to facepalm. Easy? Those who had not given up did so immediately.

The training ground was at the shore of the ocean. Marx stood in front of the ocean and decided to test some kicks he had learnt with the skill Laser Kicks. The best to use was the tornado kick.

Marx built some momentum and he spinned himself leaping in the air. He spinned once and the second time, the laser shot from his foot without him hitting the target. The laser used only to activate when he hit something and he could not do so at will.

But with tornado kicks, he was able to channel enough strength to release the laser. The laser shot out in a circular manner at the edge of Marx's foot. As Marx descended, there was a red circle fine meter above the ground.

It was expanding in every direction and whatever had its height reaching more than 5 meters did not stand a chance. To show the power of the Laser, the circle expanded for 500 meters cutting everything in its way.

Trees within the vicinity were cut from the 5 meter mark and the houses that had their roofs above 5 meters lost their roof. Everyone stared with their jaws dropped. This was the power of an angel!

Marx looked at them apologetically.

"I miscalculated," he said scratching his head.

"So our young Angel is still learning about his powers. You should not use untested skills," it was not Ram who spoke but another guy who had gotten an acquittance.

"Please cover for me," Marx said but they all broke into a laughter

"Currently, everyone knows what you have done. That is the problem of standing out too much. You still need more practice," Ram said.

"I see its more difficult for you than it is for us yet you dare say that it is easy. You really are diligent," another guy said and the rest agreed.

Marx took everything too seriously that when he started learning, it would just turn out to be easy for him no matter how difficult it was for him. At least he got to see the silver lining in everything he did, no matter the difficulty.

Marx continued scratching his head with a sheepish smile. They were right though. He still needed to get accustomed to his powers just as the system had said. He then turned back to the village and his hands in six position.

"I will leave you now. Thanks for today," Marx said as he activated Halo Steps and headed back to his abode. This became his normal routine and he was having the last sunset before he was taken back. He had asked the system to wait till the sun set.

He was currently seated next to her resting place with Jerry on his shoulder. The sun was setting and the wind was blowing on the grass and his hair. He remembered them watching the sun set together and making dry jokes.

"This is the last day I will visit you. But don't think I will forget you. You are usually the brightest in the skies at night and I will never let go of our memories. I might not visit in many years but I will visit you when I have gotten back to my true timeline.

"The time passed faster than expected and everything you dreamed of is now happening. I know that you were not just a fleeting moment in my life and I will always go back to that moment. To make sure that you are not forgotten.

" This is not goodbye but a short time separation. Time will come and I will see you again," he said and stood up. He decided to take one more glance at the village before he was sent back. He activated Halo Steps and started walking downhill.

People had gotten used to seeing him in the sky and when they saw him, everyone would cheer. He no longer walked higher than they could see him. Instead, he made sure they saw him.

As the sun set, it was time for those in the farms to go back home before darkness knocked in. Men led the way and their wives walked next to them. The kids of both genders walked behind them.

Those who had finished harvesting were carrying their harvest and so were the kids. Marx just smiled. At least they accepted women and allowed them to work alongside them. At first it had been awkward but it turned out that it was the best way.

Ox drawn carts carrying all sorts of harvests headed towards the village. The people all cheered at Marx when they saw him. It had never been this lively in this village. Seeing children play on their way back happily and the happy smiles on everyone.

Marx descended and picked two kids on each side. One boy one girl. They held on to his neck as he activated Halo Steps and climbed into the air. The kids were exhilirated. He used to do this everyday and have fun with them.

But that was not the best factor though. Men had accepted to acknowledge women's privacy. Women no longer wore the loincloths on their private parts. Marx had told Ram of a certain type of clothing that is called a dress.

Ram had told this idea to his mother who had readily accepted this idea. The village tailors were told of the design. In the second week, ladies no longer walked half naked. It was even considered morally wrong to let a girl walk without clothes.

Those who were caught were taken to the chief for punishment. Marx was happy. At least they had accepted morals. Also, they had already designated worship days and had created god statues. The prophecy's purpose had been attained.

He watched everything with a smile as his thoughts drifted back to Mia.

"This was what you wanted right? I know you can see all this," he said as he headed towards the centre of the village. He dropped the children at their homes for he knew everyone there by name.

He stood few meters above them. People had learnt that he qould be leaving in one month and they had come to say goodbye to him.

"I hope you never forget your values and you will always uphold justice for all of you. I have no more time left and goodbye you all. I have learnt a lot from you," Marx said and immediately, the six colours engulfed him and he disappeared.

The people only had one thought; gods truly were thoughtful of them...
