Chapter 4 - [Endless Possibilities!]

[Create Your Gift! (GM Points will be used according to the Gift Created)]

"Since we are done with that. Let's proceed to the next level," and the white goblin clicked his fingers again. And just like before, the time stopped with the white screen appearing in front of me.

Just like last time, the information appeared of the next few quests that were going to occur. I observed them for a few minutes before closing my eyes as I reorganized my thoughts.

'I will die.'

And that's the conclusion I reached based on my stats and Gift. All by myself, I was pretty sure that I would die by the first trap or monster that I would encounter.

But then… There was something that I wanted to try.

[Would you like to send [Contract!] to [Adrian John Rodriguez]? Since it's your first [Contract], No GM Points will be consumed!]

A smile formed on my face as I clicked [Yes], before another notification popped up. This time on my blue screen.

[Game Master [???] wants to bind a [Contract]with you? You will allow [???] to bestow [Blessings!] [Title!] [Skill!] [Gold!] [Curse!] [Punishment!] in exchange for doing their bidding whenever they ask you to!]

[Would you like to proceed with the Contract?]

[Yes!]

[Congratulations! You are now officially bound to [???]!]

The messages stopped on the blue screen, as I decided to move to my next step. But something nice happened next on the 'White Screen' that made me widen my eyes in astonishment.

[You have formed your first contract!]

[Contractee: Lower Grade Mortal with below basic Stat and No Gift!]

[+100 GM Points!]

[+500 GM Points will be added as a beginner Gift!]

I closed my eyes for a brief moment, before a wide smile crept up on my face. Looking at the information that was in front of my eyes, I wondered what would happen if I were to form a contract with a Higher Grade Mortal… or even with someone with a Gift.

But for that… survival comes first.

[20 minutes till the Game Starts!]

[Gift: Superhuman Abilities!

Grade: Devine Grade-0!

Effect: All Stats X100!]

Cost: 1 Billion GM Points!]

[Gift: Elemental Summoner!

Grade: Mythical Grade-0

Effect: Summon any types of elemental without any limit!

Cost: 1.3 Billion GM Points!]

[Gift: Mana Body!

Grade: Mythical- Grade-0

Effect: Allows the user to Mana Indefinitely!

Cost: 900 Million GM Points!]

'So the high limit is somewhere in billions, Huh?'

[Gift: Walk!

Grade: Lower Mortal Grade-9

Effect: Allows the user to walk 1.1 times faster!

Cost: 20 GM Points!]

'And the lower limit is in the 10s, huh?' I thought before trying something more.

[Gift: Walk!

Grade: Lower Mortal Grade-10

Effect: Allows the user to walk 1.1 times faster for 10 minutes!

Cooldown: 60 minutes!

Cost: 2 GM Points!]

'Good. This opens up many options,' I thought as I closed the [Gift], until I had enough time to sit and think about it. I don't know if I could change my [Gift] later or not, so for now let's postpone it until I have at least 10,000 GM Points.

[10 minutes till game starts!]

'Yeah, yeah. I know.'

I then began analyzing the next level and what I need to do. While fighting is an appropriate choice, I wanted to keep myself hidden until I had enough strength to defend myself.

And in order to do that,

[Skill: Absolute Foresight!

Rank: SSS-Rank!

Effect: Allows the user to view 10 Seconds into the future!]

[Would you like to create [Skill: Absolute Foresight]! For 200 Million GM Points?]

'This is too much, huh?' I pondered before trying something else.

[Skill: Trap Detection(Passive)

Rank: E

Effect: Allows the user to detect all forms of traps within 100 meters!]

[Would you like to create [Skill: Trap Detection!] for 1000 GM Points?]

'Hmmm… Let's see. If we do this,' I then added a few restrictions to that skill and then.

[Skill: Lesser Trap Detection

Rank: F

Effect: For 60 minutes, the user can see all traps around him within 20 meters in range!

Cooldown: 7 Days!]

[Would you like to Create [Skill: Lesser Trap Detection!] 100 GM Points?!]

With this one done, next one…

[Limited Skill: Trap disarmament!

Rank: E

Effect: Allows you to Disarm Traps below Lvl 10 immediately!

Restrictions: The skill will stop existing after 20 Traps are disarmed!]

[Would you like to Create [Limited Skill: Trap Disarmament!] for 80 GM Points?!]

'This should do,' I thought before looking at one of the Hidden Quests.

[Hidden Quest 2: Disarm!

Difficulty: Moderate!

Objective: Disarm/Trigger at least 8 Traps on your way!

Rewards: [Skill: Beginner's Perception!] ]

After giving it a bit of thought, I then tried changing a few things within that quest.

[Hidden Quest 2: Disarm!

Difficulty: Insane!

Objective: Disarm 20 Traps on your way!

Rewards: [Skill: Perception!]; +5 Attribute Points!]

[The following changes will cost 200 GM Points. Will you proceed with it?]

'Is 20 Traps too much?' I thought before I decided that it was not. I just need to not go the way where the monsters are.

[2 minutes left before the Game starts!]

Since all the things were done, I decided that I should place my bets as well.

[Out of 132 Players, how many will make it out alive? <50-70>] [50 GM Points!]

[Out of 132 Players, how many will make it out in 30 minutes? <30-50>] [50 GM Points!]

[Out of 132 Players, how many will make it out alive in 10 minutes? <5-25>] [100 GM Points!]

[GM Points: 120!]

I took one last look at my remaining GM Points before I then focused back on the countdown!

[The Game will start in 10 seconds!]

And the countdown slowly turned to 0, before everything turned back to color again.
