Chereads / The Extra’s Survival: Logging into the Game Master System! / Chapter 17 - [Boundary of the Tutorial!]

Chapter 17 - [Boundary of the Tutorial!]

With increased stats, I did not need to worry about the Goblin hunters. I could pretty much wipe them all smoothly if I just jump in, but I won't. Last time I took it half-heartedly, I almost lost my life. No can do that again.

5 Health Potions

5 Mana potions

2 Agility enhancement potions

2 Strength Enhancement potions

1 Stealth Potion

2 Weapon Enhancement Potion!

I first bought these for 17500 Points. Since points were more or less easier to get, I decided to not bet my life for saving a few thousand points. Precautions are better than cure after all.

Once this was done, I added another layer of protection to this.

[Title: Goblin Hunter!

Grade: E

Effects:

-When fighting against Goblins, all physical stats are doubled!

-For each E-Ranked Goblin killed, the user gets +1 Agility for 2 minutes!]

[Would you like to create this title for 50,000 GM Points?]

'Costly,' I sighed before making more changes to it.

[Title: Goblin Hunter!

Grade: F

Effects:

-For each E-Ranked Goblin killed, the user gets +1 Agility for 30 seconds!]

[Would you like to create this title for 2000 GM Points?]

'Still too much,' I narrowed at the cost before I changed the effects a few more times, finally reaching a point where the skill was cost-effective.

[Title: Goblin Hunter!

Grade: F

Effects:

-For each E-Ranked Goblin killed, the user gets +1 Agility for 20 seconds!

-The user loses 10 MP for each increase in agility point!]

[Would you like to create this title for 547 GM Points?]

This still left me with more than 15,000 Points and about 2000 GM points in hand, which I decided to save. Not because I was feeling safe with this mission, but because there was nothing else that I could buy from the [Shop!] to help me with this situation.

As for the GM points, I only used it because I thought it was necessary here.

"All right. Let's start by attracting some of them," I thought as I walked closer to them and removed my cloak first. As obvious, the goblins were alarmed and began running towards my direction.

Walking backwards, I kept maintaining a fixed distance. I was hoping to catch them in batches, but they paused after about 30 meters, and then just observed me without moving.

I too stopped, as I observed them standing there, with the rest of the goblins behind them watching me, observing me carefully.

'Well, here goes nothing,' I thought as I put on the cloak. Drinking the stat potions, I then activated one of my skills.

[+5 Agility for 15 minutes!]

[+5 Strength for 15 minutes!]

[Blood Gaze!]

-Whoosh!

And before they could react, I reached closer to the most front one. My increased agility played a major role in this sudden dash, surprising even me, as I observed the goblin with a smile creeping up on my face.

-Slash!

[You have killed an E-Grade Monster: Goblin Warrior!]

-Slash! x 4

[You have killed an E-Grade Monster: Goblin Hunter!]

[You have killed an E-Grade Monster: Goblin Warrior!]

[You have killed an E-Grade Monster: Goblin Warrior!]

[You have killed an E-Grade Monster: Goblin Warrior!]

'A hunter, huh?' I thought as I saw the other monster, physically weaker than the goblin warriors. Were they more skilled? Can't find the difference.

-Slash x ??

The bodies dropped until I killed about 15 of them. And then moving forward, I killed 10 another.

While it was a hindrance that they were in groups, it was also a blessing that they were extremely poor in coordination. I observed their movements, and saw that some of them even hurt the other goblins while trying to attack me.

While the effect of [Blood Gaze!] were negligible in this fight, the effects of added agility were super good. In fact, at some point I stopped using [Blood Gaze!] at all since it became hinderence in acquiring more agility points.

-Slash x ??

5 minutes passed since I was killing the goblins, but I wasn't tired at all. If it were me before, I would have either created some distance to take a few seconds of breath, or taken an energy potion. But now…

-Slash x 7

It wasn't even a warm up.

As I continued, the number of goblins decreased considerably. Those shamans were hurrying with their summoning, while the other goblins were now more frantic than before. Trying their best to stop me from reaching the center.

-Slash x 5

But their reduced number also gave me enough time to recollect my thoughts as I dodged and attacked them. Some could see me despite my stealth, those were the hunters. Others couldn't unless they were hit first, they were the warriors.

-Slash x 6

In the end, they were all goblins.

10 minutes passed since the battle started.

All the goblins except those shamans were dead.

And I looked at them with a cautious look. Despite them showing signs of fear, I knew they were a type of mages. One step wrong, and I could simply die without even knowing how I died.

A total of 5 Goblin Shamans, looking at me with fear as I observed them and then I sighed before picking up one of the spears from the pile of corpses. And then aiming at the goblin at the center…

-Swish!

-BOOM!

"Tsk," I thought as I missed the aim, while their eyes widened realizing what I was doing. Yet, they didn't move out of that damned circle.

Not caring much, I then picked up another spear and adjusted my aim again.

-Swish!

-BOOM!!!

[You have killed an E-Grade Monster: Goblin Summoner!]

The one I hit was the guy at the center. The one who was drawing that circle before. While he looked similar to others, his red coloured fingers made me identify him better.

"KREEE!!"

"KREE!!"

"LIII!!"

"KIII!"

The other goblins, realizing what happened shouted out loud before beginning to chant something. I saw a strange circle forming in the air in front of him.

-Swish!

-BOOM!

[You have killed an E-Grade Goblin: Goblin Shaman!]

And since it would be idiotic to let them continue, I killed them from a distance. I still did not dare to walk towards them given how they were still standing there despite being a live target.

But still…

"Kray ona ao!" One of the goblins shouted, creating a fireball and then throwing it at me.

"Whoa!" I jumped to the side, barely dodging that attack before I picked up another spear and threw with all my might.

-Swish!

-BOOM!

'Pretty good for first time,' I thought as I hit the ground right below them, destroying the road and throwing the goblins away from the circle. And as soon as that happened, the shaman goblins were horrified.

As if crying, they just stood there making random noises with apparent panic on their face. It made me wonder if they too were in this game just like us? Surviving to the best of their abilities. I wish I could know the answer to it, but right now, the more sympathy I will show, the higher the chances, I will die early.

-BOOM!

[You have killed an F-Grade Monster: Goblin Shaman!]

-BOOM!

[You have killed an F-Grade Monster: Goblin Shaman!]

-BOOM!

[You have killed an F-Grade Monster: Goblin Shaman!]

'It's a bit regretful, but I guess this is how it is,' I thought as I looked at the mess that this whole battlefield left behind. I sighed as I ran around the circle, still not daring to move inside it, and moved farther, deepere into the city, hoping to find more goblins.

[Points: 162,310!]

[GM Points: 5761!]

The first thing I did was to remove the mana restriction of the [Title!]. It cost me 2000 GM points, but it was worth it. Especially since I was going to buy a new mana based skill from the shop. In Addition, I was hoping to find more E-Grade Monsters as well.

[Skill: Aura!

Grade: C

Effect:

-Allows the user to imbue Mana into their weapons! The attack power of the weapon increases based on the amount of mana the User applies into the weapon!

Restrictions:

-The user must have their mana unlocked!

-Wisdom must be greater than 20!

-Minimum Mana required to activate Aura: 100MP

-Maximum Mana that can be applied: 2500MP

Cost: 125,000 Points!]

I did not know how powerful the [D-Grade!] the monster was going to be, hence I had to prepare as much as I could. And with that in mind, I continued running for another 20 minutes until I stopped… no. More like, I can't walk any further than I already was now.
