Chapter 4 - my mafia

Jeon jk is biggest fearless mafia leader in his world, merciless towards bad , he has a wife y/n cute bubbly , he loves her so much

*Jeon JK stands in the darkened alley, the moon casting an eerie light on his stoic figure. His gaze is cold and unforgiving as he watches the deal unfold before him. His men stand at attention, ready to strike at his command. His wife, the only one who can melt his icy exterior, waits for him back at their luxurious home, where he will return to pamper and protect her.*

Y/N sits in their plush living room, her eyes glued to the TV screen as she nervously nibbles on her nails. She knows the risks that come with being married to the most feared mafia boss, but she also knows the love he has for her is fierce and unyielding. The sound of his footsteps echoing through the marble hallway sends a shiver down her spine. She quickly wipes away the tears that had formed in her eyes, not wanting him to see her fear.

As the door opens, Jeon JK steps into the room, his usual confidence replaced with a tension that she can almost feel in the air. He locks eyes with her, and she forces a smile, trying to lighten the mood. "How was your day, honey?" she asks, her voice slightly shakier than she intends. He walks over to her, the weight of his gaze heavy, and takes her hand gently in his. His thumb traces circles over her knuckles, soothing her without a word.

"It was...eventful," he replies, his voice a low rumble. He sighs, the tension in his body slowly easing as he sits beside her on the couch. He leans back, his hand resting protectively on her thigh. "But I'm home now," he adds, a hint of warmth in his tone.

The TV flickers, casting a pale blue light across their faces as they sit in silence for a moment. Then, JK breaks it. "I know you're worried, but you don't have to be. I always come home to you." His words are like a warm blanket, wrapping around her and pushing the chill of fear away. She nods, trying to believe him, but the recent spike in enemy activity has her on edge.

He senses her unease and pulls her closer, kissing her forehead. "Let's not talk about that now," he whispers, changing the subject. "Tell me about your day. Did you go to the bakery? Did you find that new flavor you were looking for?" His attempt to distract her is clear, but she appreciates it. She tells him about the quirky cake she saw, the one shaped like a dragon, and how the owner had remembered her favorite pastries. His eyes light up at her enthusiasm, and for a brief moment, she forgets about the chaos that awaits him outside their door.

Their conversation flows naturally, filled with laughter and sweet nothings that only a couple deeply in love would share. It's these moments that make the danger worth it, she thinks. To be loved by a man who would burn the world for her, and to love him in return despite the darkness that surrounds him. But as the night deepens, she can't shake the feeling that their peace is only temporary, that the shadows of his world are closing in on them. She clings to him tighter, her heart racing with a mix of love and dread, as she wonders what tomorrow will bring.

Their tranquil evening is shattered by the harsh ring of the phone. JK's eyes narrow as he reads the message, his grip on her hand tightening. Without a word, he stands, his expression hardening into something unrecognizable. Y/N follows his gaze to the screen, where the words "Traitor in our midst" flash ominously. Her eyes widen in horror as she realizes the gravity of the situation. They have a mole. Someone within their inner circle has turned against them.

In an instant, their lives are upended. JK's phone calls are tense and brief, his orders swift and decisive. Within minutes, their home is a fortress as loyal guards swarm the property, searching for any signs of the traitor. Y/N watches him, her heart in her throat, as he calmly issues commands, his mind racing with strategy. She's never seen this side of him before—cold, calculating, and utterly ruthless.

They pack hastily, grabbing only what they need, as JK leads her to a hidden escape route. His hand is warm and reassuring in hers, but she can feel the tremor of rage beneath his cool exterior. They slip into the night, leaving behind the life they knew. The betrayal stings deep, but it's the fear for each other that propels them forward. As they speed away in a nondescript car, she looks back at their home, wondering if they'll ever be able to return.

Y/N can't help but think about the secret she's uncovered. It's like a ticking time bomb in her pocket, ready to blow at any moment. She found it by accident, a USB drive carelessly left in the study. It contained information that could not only bring down their own mafia, but also expose the corrupt officials and powerful figures who had been aiding them from the shadows. The implications were vast, and she knew that with this knowledge, they were now the most wanted targets in the city.

Their journey takes them to the heart of the city's underbelly, a place where JK's power holds no sway. They move from safehouse to safehouse, trusting no one. Every whispered conversation, every shadow that moves in the night, sends a jolt of terror through her. Yet, amidst the chaos, JK remains the rock she clings to. His eyes never leave hers for long, a silent promise that he'll keep her safe.

But the secret is like a living entity, demanding to be shared, to be used. And when Y/N overhears a conversation between two of JK's men discussing their dwindling resources and the traitor's growing influence, she knows she can't keep it to herself any longer. With trembling hands, she pulls out the USB and shows it to JK. "This could change everything," she says, her voice barely above a whisper. His eyes widen in shock before narrowing in determination. "We have to use it," she insists, gripping his hand tighter.

He looks at her, his expression torn. "If we do, it'll mean war. It'll mean putting you in even more danger." But she's firm in her resolve. "I trust you," she says, her voice steady. "We'll face it together." With a heavy sigh, JK nods. They're in this together, and she knows he won't let her down. The decision is made. They'll bring down the empire to protect each other, even if it means their world will never be the same again.
