"Damn it, troublesome bitch! What a hassle!" Jack muttered under his breath, his frustration reaching its peak. He spun around, preparing to storm off, but his steps faltered when he saw Alex's figure suddenly halt. Alex turned back to him, eyes flashing with a dangerous gleam that sent a shiver down Jack's spine. Jack's heart raced, his instincts screaming at him to flee.
But before he could make a move, Alex's voice sliced through the tension, cold and menacing. "You'd better stop entertaining any foolish ideas, Jack, or you'll find yourself facing consequences you're not prepared for."
Jack's body went rigid, fear gripping him tightly. He wanted to run, but his legs felt like they were rooted to the ground. Alex's threat hung heavy in the air, causing Jack to break out in a cold sweat. Without another word, Alex turned and led his entourage away, his posture radiating confidence and authority.
