"Dad," he greeted Tom, settling on the sofa.
Tom frowned when Simon removed his sunglasses, revealing a bruised face.
"What happened? Who did this to you?"
"It was Alex from the Miller family!"
"What? Are you sure?"
"Yes!"
"You fool! How could you provoke him?"
"Dad, please help me! I'll be a laughingstock otherwise."
"Do you realize Alex's status is even higher than mine?" Tom sighed. "We'll let this go."
"Dad, you're the mayor!"
"Even if I were a god, we can't touch him!" Tom cut him off. "His wife is the Grey family's daughter."
Simon's eyes widened. "When did the Grey family have a daughter?"
"I don't know," Sebastian said. "But we can't provoke them."
Meanwhile, Lucy, who overheard their conversation, knocked on Tom's door.
"Mr. Hans, it's me, Lucy."
"Come in," Tom said, smiling.
"Mr. Hans, here's the quotation for Phillips Corporation."
