Upon hearing this, Claire sneered and said, "Whether I'm worthy or not, Josh knows best. Since that's the case, why did you call me? Did you just want me to give you a reality check? If so, congratulations, you succeeded!"
"You!" The woman on the other end of the phone was so furious that she shouted.
Claire didn't waste any more words and hung up. She knew Josh's grandmother was ill, and Josh had a very bad temper when it came to family matters, so she didn't dare risk upsetting him further.
After hanging up the phone, Claire began walking outside.
"Doctor Claire!"
Suddenly, she heard Josh's voice behind her. Turning around, she looked at him.
"What's the matter?"
"I have something to tell you. Come with me now," Josh said, glancing at Claire before walking toward the backyard of the Greg residence.
Claire had no choice but to follow him. They walked into the backyard, and Josh stopped in his tracks.
