Chapter 268 - Dinner

"I feel like a fish."

Edwin looked up from his plate, his brow furrowing slightly as he nodded in agreement. "The fish here is indeed good," he said thoughtfully, his hand gesturing toward the menu. "What kind of fish do you want? Take a look; they have a great variety."

Serena's lips twitched with amusement, and she let out a soft chuckle, shaking her head. "No, Edwin," she replied, her tone laced with humor. "I don't mean I feel like eating a fish." She leaned back in her chair, her gaze steady on him as she clarified, "I meant that I feel like a fish, with the way you keep staring at me like I'm in some kind of glass tank."

Edwin blinked, clearly caught off guard by her explanation. He opened his mouth to respond but then closed it, his expression embarrassed. "I am just trying to make sure that you're eating well. You seem to be losing weight."
