"My wife is alive." Aiden's tone was cold, his eyes fixed on the ground as his posture remained tense and unyielding. His words left no room for argument. The officer sighed. It was what usually happened with victim's family. They would not believe their loved one was dead until they saw the dead body themselves. But finding a dead body days after the incident was almost impossible as well. It would already have been taken away by wild animals.
