"Wow, you're in a bad mood because of your brother? I thought maybe you had a breakup or something," Kim said, leaning back in her chair.
Ella shook her head and took a sip of her coffee. "No, it's not that. With all the family drama going on, I don't even have time to think about dating. I did like someone once, but it turns out he wasn't interested in me. So, I don't think I have it in me to chase anyone."
Kim frowned and tilted her head thoughtfully. "I think your brother loves you, though. No matter how much this girl might have a hold on him, he'll eventually listen to you over her. But… there's another option you might not have thought about."
Ella raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"
