But I have to ask—why do we even need politicians involved in this matter?" Aiden muttered, shooting a quick glance at Mr. Corrick as if to say not to take it personally.
Matthew Dawn chuckled softly at Aiden's boldness and shook his head slightly. "Because this project impacts not just Mr. Corrick's town, but also the interests of Nvidia Industries. Instead of going about the entire case in a convoluted and indirect manner, I thought it would be best to discuss it openly and directly. You know, to foster trust among us."
