"What the—? Aiden Hawk! Why are you standing here, naked on my doorstep?" Serena blurted, her eyes widening as she stared at him.
Aiden raised an eyebrow, clearly amused. "I am not naked. If you can bear to tear your gaze away from my chest, you'll notice I'm wearing trousers."
Serena blinked, forcing her eyes downward to confirm. Yep, the lower half was definitely covered. Too bad. But that wasn't the point. The point was why he was at her door shirtless.
"Fine, fine! Why are you at my door without a shirt on?"
"Do you have an issue with me being at your door, or is the shirtlessness the problem?" Aiden shot back, leaning casually against the doorframe, while crossing his arms in front of her as if it was the most normal thing in the world.
