According to Iron Hand's explanation, this place was originally an underground fortress where local residents fought against the evil demons from the Wilderness during the Catastrophe. Spilled with demonic blood and filled with decaying demonic corpses, the monstrous filth seeped into the local Earth Vein, causing the land to be entwined by poisonous fiends, making it difficult for cultivators to circulate their Qi smoothly and project their Divine Sense effectively.
