Each time, they would be wounded by the counterattack of the Immaculate Wood, their bodies covered with sharp stabs of golden qi, small and large holes in their bodies awaiting healing.
Yet they persisted in attacking twelve times a day without any hint of weariness or intention to give up.
This was not simply stupidity.
The Heartless Demon Sheddings might lack intelligence, but to be precise, they lacked the ability to think independently; they possessed instincts, and very powerful ones at that, capable of effectively filtering information from their surroundings to make decisions like a machine.
