This was a terrifying product of an ancient breeding program that combined demons, bipedal wyverns, and the filthiest elements of Red Dragons.
They roamed the wilderness of The Abyss, hunting demons and visitors alike in the same manner.

The howls of the dragon beasts echoed through the Huor Mountain Range, causing creatures in the mountains to tremble, their roars more chaotic and disordered than those of ordinary bipedal wyverns, filled with the oppression of The Abyss.
These Abyssal drakes flapped their wings wildly, spitting out black and red Abyssal Fire that incinerated every living thing on the ground.
On the back of the leading Abyssal drake, a humanoid creature covered in blood-red skin carried a blood-stained longsword, emitting a mad battle cry.
"Scorch this place!"
"Sacrifice everything to The Abyss, let everything here descend into chaos!"
