Two roads lead south from the Snake People Outpost. One heads to the Snake Catcher Fortress, once the only route that traversed the north and south.
The second follows near the Frozen Soil Mountain Range, which had been an impassable chasm. But now, with the endeavors of Great Knights, Volcano Monster Birds, Flying Dragons, and others, it is no longer difficult to cross.
This might be the end of the world since a vast number of humans have died and the earth no longer yields normal crops. The high and mighty Nobles either choose madness or eternal weakness.
Yet this is also a new era. Magic that once was confined high in the sky by the Ring of Magic is now accessible. Being able to produce a Great Knight used to be considered a natural-born talent—an honor, with Nobles spending tremendous resources without the certainty of promotion to Great Knight status. But now, they can be mass-produced.
