Lind only took Reed and Leo away from the Star Dragon Ridge outpost and, using the map Han provided when they left, they arrived at the stream between the outpost and Prey Town.
Having passed by here many times, Lind never once thought of following the river to see where it led. Human inertia is truly frightening, so much so close by yet all ignored.
The road ahead was muddy, with both men clad in heavy armor. Although Lind's armor was completely trashed, he carried the Carrion Queen's Broken Sword on his back, and his own weight was heavier than that of an ordinary person, which made him wade through the muddy riverbank, one deep step after another.
