The wounds were slowly healing, the intricate vines sewing together like thread, a miraculous change in the monster's regenerative ability.
Yet, this was not the full extent of the parasitic corpse willow's capabilities. As the battle raged, roots suddenly burst from beneath the ground and attacked the ghoul with dense and fierce velocity.
And on the surface, the dark red willow branches lashed out, just as lethal.
