The attack was intercepted by a tall Lizardman, whose beastly pupils glowed with a cold, orange-yellow light. Muttering sounds emerged from his mouth, and then, through a spatial rift, more Lizardmen charged out, all dressed in animal hides and wielding weapons.
"Something's not right."
Unlike the madness of the monsters, this group of Lizardmen seemed eerily calm.
"Gurgle..."
Another hunched Lizardman appeared, an old one wearing a colorful animal skin apron and a necklace of beast teeth, holding a skinny bone staff. With a wave of his hand, he unleashed a massive Energy beam that shot directly towards Zhu Xiong.
Zhu Xiong, quick to react, immediately summoned a Spiritual Energy Shield in front of him. With a loud boom, the shield vibrated rapidly but firmly caught the attack.
