In the afternoon, he asked Lin Chuan if he knew any friends at Xinghai who needed a short-term intern. He wanted to get a little sister in, to learn some experience.
Normally, no serious company would bother hiring short-term interns. This was entirely about pulling strings and using connections to shove Li Yang into the role.
Calling in a favor wasn't a big deal, Xu Qingyan had been looking to make connections with Lin Chuan anyway. Mutual favors built relationships, and it provided an excuse to get in touch again.
Lin Chuan was very proactive, simply saying he would ask around.
In less than ten minutes, the call came back saying a friend of his was running a company in Xinghai xxx. They just happened to need an intern for odd jobs, and it was fine to come over during holidays to help out.
The company wasn't too far from Xinghai University and could provide an internship certificate.
