A bit sleepy...
The next day.
Shen Jinyue woke up to find herself in bed, and upon opening her eyes, she was still in Xu Qingyan's room. However, as she propped herself up, there were no signs that anyone had slept beside her.
The sofa was a bit messy, with Xu Qingyan still leaning on it, not yet awake.
Shen Jinyue carefully got out of bed, looking down at first, then simply squatting down. But due to her build, a misplaced center of gravity caused her to topple over.
The noise she made woke Xu Qingyan. He glanced at Shen Jinyue with barely any reaction. He propped himself up and after a moment, he asked.
"When did you wake up?"
"Just now." Shen Jinyue seemed very pleased.
Xu Qingyan couldn't fathom why she was so happy, so he reached out and pinched her face. He always had a clear distinction, last night was last night, today is today.
