He played for the Dutch team Feyenoord and had just been honored as the best goalkeeper of the Eredivisie for the first time this season.

Dudek said, "The third round is the last match of the group stage, and Poland still has the possibility to advance."
"The Czech team lacks attacking power, and it will be difficult for them to take all three points against Switzerland."
"As long as Poland beats Portugal, we can qualify as the first-place team in the group."
When a reporter asked about his opinion on the Portuguese players, Dudek said, "In my opinion, there is only one best forward at this age, and that is Fan Peixi (Robin van Persie)."
