Yuezheng Yan had just been awakened from his slumber when he heard the first sentence: an evil ghost wanted to devour him.
It made his blood rush to his head, and he almost couldn't catch his breath.
"Junior brother," Lu Xingyan said as she peeled another layer from a pill and stuffed it into his mouth, holding his head.
Yuezheng Yan turned his head to dodge, but his miniature self was no match for Lu Xingyan's strength.
The bitter pill was forced into his mouth and, after much difficulty, he swallowed it. Just as he did, Lu Xingyan had another freshly peeled one ready for him.
In a panic, Yuezheng Yan hurriedly shouted, "Senior sister, I'm alive! I'm already alive!"
Don't feed me anymore, my stomach isn't that big right now. Feeding me more would burst it even if it didn't kill me.
"Junior brother, don't be sad," Lu Xingyan said as she placed him in her palm, softening her voice, "Although you've been poisoned, we've gained the treasures of two stone chambers this time."
