The three jade slips contained the Ghost Nurturing Technique, the Great Ghost Controlling Method, and the Yin Spirit Technique of the Yin Spirit Sect.
The Ghost Nurturing Technique detailed how to nurture various ghost creatures. Different ghosts possessed different abilities: some had immense strength, their bodies comparable to mythical beasts; some were experts in Illusion Techniques, capable of creating illusions that could trap people unable to see through them; and some could possess human bodies, rendering them immobile.
In the Ghost Nurturing Technique, the most precious creatures were Ghosts. Ghosts were categorized into four levels: Low-grade, Mid-grade, High-grade, and Supreme Grade Ghosts. Forming a contract with a Low-grade Ghost could assist a cultivator in his cultivation, essentially granting him a Low-grade Spiritual Root. Similarly, a Mid-grade Ghost would equate to a Mid-grade Spiritual Root, and so on.
