Clearly, the announcer was also shocked by the outcome, though he was obviously a bit over the top. Ober's two rounds of bombardment were strong, but they weren't at the level of a deathblow, yet as the announcer mentioned, Rocky remained unharmed in both rounds of bombings, which indeed seemed unbelievable to most people.
