Felly was absolutely right; Lapaton was indeed planning to forcefully break a path through for the Fleet!
The Fleet under his command outnumbered Rocky's, and it was certain that in a head-on fight, he would win, but unfortunately, there was no time for that.
For Lapaton, the battle situation was a race against time. Karina, leading the Void Magic Squad, was harassing his Fleet as much as possible. In just these few short minutes, two more warships had been sunk, and at a greater distance, Berg was leading other warships to close the encirclement. Once surrounded completely, Lapaton would face an enemy force many times his own, and by then, neither he nor his Fleet would be able to escape.
