Rocky insisted on going to war, and Glan did not hinder him excessively, so he quickly left the City Lord's Mansion to report the matter to the Alliance.
The Alliance's response came much faster than expected, with news arriving the next day.
"City Lord Rocky, the Alliance is quite pleased to hear that you plan to join the war!"
After meeting with Rocky in the City Lord's Hall, Glan said with a chuckle.
Anyone could hear that this was merely a polite platitude; even Rocky himself was well aware that in a war of this level, he definitely couldn't count as a major player, not even a minor one—perhaps merely a passerby. How could the Alliance be pleased by his participation?
So, he merely nodded with a smile, and then looked eagerly at Glan, clearly wanting to get to the main point.
