The precursor, greatly aiding those who follow, this kind of scenario typically exists only as a beautiful notion. For if everyone reached this state, how then would the cultivation resources of this realm be divided?
Adding just one more peer in the realm means having to allocate some of one's own cultivation resources.
And if not divided?
Then an inevitable confrontation would surely occur.
After the strife, even if one could temporarily suppress and achieve victory, could this endless suppression continue?
By then, there would no longer exist a precursor helping those who come after. Thus, precursors often set numerous limitations for their successors!
But not entirely blocking the path for successors.
Merely blocking ninety-nine percent of the routes upwards, leaving that one percent for the successors to brutally fight among themselves, struggling to snatch up opportunities.
This, apparently, is the true essence of the Ten Desolations "Tribulation."
