Linghu Chong drew his sword and performed the move White Rainbow Piercing the Sun as the old man had instructed, aligning the sword techniques and foot positions with his master's teachings. However, once he finished the move, he was frozen in place.
Yue Ling Shan found it odd and attempted the move herself.
Only then did she understand the difficulty her senior brother faced.
"At the end of the White Rainbow Piercing the Sun move, the sword tip points to the sky, and the next move, Phoenix Arrival, starts with the sword tip pointing down, making it impossible to connect the two," she said.
"Elder Feng, the move following White Rainbow Piercing the Sun is actually Welcoming Pine, followed by Golden Geese Across the Sky," she questioned softly.
Linghu Chong hesitated too, thinking to himself that this wasn't the way his master had taught the moves.
