Chapter 3 - Chapter 1 Student Code of Conduct_3

"Please follow the Security Guard until you arrive at the building on the map, and before other students notice you, leave the Security Guard's side."

"After 8 p.m., the streetlights in the campus area are always on. If you see a streetlight that is not lit, please ignore it and go around. If it's too dark for you to find your way, and you can't use the buildings on the map as a reference outside the darkness of the streetlights, follow the same procedure as when you can't find a streetlight: stay put until a patrolling Security Guard finds you."

"The dormitory is equipped with bathrooms. If you need to wash your hair, do not close your eyes while doing so; ensure you can see the tiles, patterns, or anything that confirms you are still in the bathroom."

"The cafeteria currently only has nine meal service windows, with staff at each window wearing blue aprons. If an employee wearing a green apron recommends the latest meal to you (especially Tomato Meat Sauce Noodles), please ignore them. Remember, the cafeteria does not have tomato sauce; be wary of any food that uses tomato sauce as a condiment."

There is no number 10 meal service window this line is bolded and underlined.

"The Convenience Store is on the first floor of the cafeteria, and there is no owner; simply swipe your Student ID card at the self-service terminal to pay. The Convenience Store only stocks daily necessities and food, not souvenirs, especially items labeled 'Student Souvenir Coin.' If you meet someone claiming to be the owner of the Convenience Store, please leave immediately."

"The school has a separate Art Classroom for art classes but does not offer sculpture classes. If someone claiming to be an Art Student invites you to try a sculpture class, please ignore them; if you can't ignore them, please politely decline; if you can't decline, do whatever it takes to inform your class monitor, Sports Student, or Physical Education Teacher."

"There are Art Teachers, but an Art Teacher is only an Art Teacher during art class. In class, you can absolutely trust what an Art Teacher says."

"Pay attention to any paintings, sculptures, or anything related to people in the Art Classroom. They should be stationary. If you see them moving, immediately hold your Student ID card, then promptly leave the classroom and head to the Gymnasium to report the incident to the Physical Education Teacher."

"You must attend Physical Education classes according to the schedule. At all times, you must comply with the arrangements of the Physical Education Teacher, even if it conflicts with other rules."

"Please prioritize your physical health. If you experience dizziness, blurred vision, nausea, or other discomforts during your time at the school, please find the Dormitory Supervisor or your class monitor before spending the night, and they will take you to the infirmary. The school doctor will escort you to the school gate. Upon seeing a blue school bus (note that it must be blue, ignore any other colors), immediately board the bus, and the driver will take you out of the school area to end your experience."

"As long as you abide by the above rules, you will have a comfortable and safe university experience. Follow the rules, stay safe, and wish you all the best on your journey!"

Lin Yi had read the student rules from start to finish once again. Although he knew all the rules by heart, he felt there was something off about them.

Especially when reading the physical manual of the student rules, even though it was exactly the same as the ones listed online, it felt even more bizarre than the information seen on the internet.

At this moment, a new announcement came through the car's broadcast:

"The vehicle will soon arrive at S City University. Please check your personal belongings and orderly disembark shortly."

As the announcement sounded, Lin Yi clearly felt the spirits of the fellow passengers rise. He wiped the window glass again to look outside.

The rain had stopped, but the mist had become thicker. S City University was like a shadow emitting a faint glow, nestled in the mountains, waiting for their arrival.

The bus jolted over the bumpy ground, and the vehicle's broadcast began reciting the student rules. Although there was air conditioning, Lin Yi felt the atmosphere in the bus was somewhat oppressive.

Before long, the bus stopped at the school gate, where the Grey Mist was thick, and the visibility was less than ten meters, making even the guardhouse indistinct.

Although the bus had come to a standstill, the driver didn't move to open the door; he was scrutinizing the situation in the mist, as if waiting for something.

Sitting in the back row, Lin Yi suddenly felt uncomfortable, as if he were being watched. Following his intuition, he looked out the window only to see, through the thick mist, what appeared to be a crowd of people, and those strange, unsettling gazes seemed to be coming from there.

Soon, several figures appeared in the mist. The driver squinted at them but could not see clearly through the thick fog.

It wasn't until the figures stopped a distance away from the guardhouse that Lin Yi noticed it was a professionally dressed woman with several boys in school uniforms, seeming like a teacher with a few student leaders out to welcome the new students.

The female Teacher wore what seemed to be a gentle smile, and her calm voice came softly through the mist: "Welcome to all the students. Now, please disembark and follow me for admission registration."

Hearing the Teacher's words, the passengers breathed a sigh of relief and lined up at the bus door with their luggage. Yet, the bus driver still did not press the button to open the door.

"Driver, we've arrived, please open the door," said a rather robust passenger at the door, reminding the driver with his luggage in hand.

But the driver's attention remained fixed on the people outside, gazing through the side window at the leading female Teacher. Even at this distance of a few meters, it was difficult to see clearly through the fog.

He gently rubbed a small booklet tucked into his chest pocket and muttered to himself as if reciting some kind of rule.

"Don't rush, wait a little longer," the driver said calmly, his steady gaze staying on the female Teacher and her group.
