As the True Words emerged, the Daoist Equal to Heaven felt as if he had become deaf and blind, engulfed by darkness, unable to hear or see. Yet, just then, his facial hair stood on end, and his skin bristled. He performed eighteen consecutive rolls on the ground, no longer minding his appearance.
