Wukong then said, "I have caused a great calamity and went to seek help from Bodhisattva Guanyin, but Bodhisattva Guanyin also had no solution, so she had to bring me to Mount Meru to seek help from you, Ancient Buddha!"
The corners of Tathagata's mouth twitched slightly as he said, "I do not know what kind of great calamity it is; tell me about it."
