There came to the Sun Goddess Temple a strange Taoist, short in stature, with a sallow complexion, holding a gourd in his hand.
What did this gourd look like? It had an infant depicted on it, the infant's eyes tightly shut, and the gourd seemed to be made of fine jade, indeed it was the notorious Immortal-Slaying and God-Punishing Treasured Saber.
Latecomers spoke of this saber in poetry. How could they recognize such an excellent blade?
The poem said:
First refine the True Yuan, then operate the power; in this lies a mystery pairing male and female.
Only maintaining a bit of the Innate Secret Technique, slaying demons and executing monsters, nothing compares.
Who could this be if not Daoist Lu Ya? However, why Lu Ya would suddenly appear in Yingzhou was beyond everyone's comprehension.
