Having arrived at the cafe where they had agreed to meet Professor Luo, Liang Fei followed Su Xiaowan inside. Xiaowan scanned the place but didn't find Professor Luo anywhere.
It was obvious that Professor Luo had not yet arrived.
"Let's find a seat to wait for a bit!"
Checking the time, Xiaowan noticed it was still about ten minutes before the agreed-upon seven o'clock and led Liang Fei to a seat to sit down.
"Hello, how many?"
Seeing them sit down, the waiter thought they were a couple and came over to ask.
"Just a moment, we're waiting for another companion to arrive."
Xiaowan gave the waiter a smile, who nodded in understanding and quietly backed away.
As the two of them chatted idly, the minutes quickly slipped by, yet Professor Luo that Xiaowan had arranged to meet still hadn't appeared.
After waiting about ten more minutes, there was still no sign of him...
