Chapter 123 - Chapter 123: Death of Madara

After using "Red" to dissipate Madara's meteors, Alex continued to mislead him, saying, "Your purity is too low. Though Shinra Tensei is hard to control, with enough time, you can gather repulsive force to create a white dwarf star!"

Seeing Alex's confident expression, Madara hesitated and asked, "How can I gather repulsive force?"

Alex looked at him with utmost seriousness. "This is an extremely hidden secret I don't usually share, but since you've entertained me, I'll tell you... You need to do 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats, and run 10 kilometers every day. Do this for three years, and you'll unlock the Uchiha clan's genetic potential, break your limits, and attain the power of a Nine Tomoe Rinnegan. You'll also be able to control the Rinnegan's abilities with greater precision!"

So simple? Madara was skeptical, but Alex's power made him believe, if only a bit. A warrior as strong as Alex would surely not bother lying, right?

Sensing Madara's thoughts through Domain Expansion: Unlimited Void, Alex was astonished. 'Oh wow, he actually believed me? Even I wouldn't believe this.'

Although he was surprised, Alex kept up the act. "You now know, but you won't get the chance to try it."

He'd had enough entertainment and no longer wanted to fight. Striking an elderly man past a hundred just didn't sit well with him; it was time to lay him to rest.

With a single step, Alex appeared in front of Madara. A tiny, glowing white dot in his hand suddenly expanded to basketball size, and with a quick move, he pressed it against Madara's face. The intense repulsive force destroyed the upper half of Madara's body instantly, but his Edo Tensei form quickly regenerated, his head reforming in mere moments.

Madara glanced back at the massive crevasse behind him, then declared, "You're strong, but you can't kill me. In my Edo Tensei state, I'm immortal!"

But Alex showed no sign of discouragement, only nodding calmly. "I know; normal attacks won't kill you. That was just a test. So, sealing techniques, Yin-Yang release, and soul attacks are the only way to harm you? As if no one knew that."

Alex had plenty of ways to bypass Edo Tensei's immortality. His Vector Manipulation could ignore the immortality of Edo Tensei, and his Purple could obliterate anything. He clenched his fist, creating a long spear of purple lightning, and with one throw, the spear seemed to bypass space, striking Madara in the chest and nearly slicing him in half.

Madara looked down as the purple energy in the wound corroded his body. Unlike normal injuries, this energy nullified Edo Tensei's regenerative powers. His wound grew until his body was nearly devoured.

Weak from the damage, Madara struggled to speak, stuttering, "Is…is this…also the power of the Nine Tomoe Rinnegan?"

Alex paused, then nodded, affirming, "Exactly…" before the imaginary mass engulfed Madara entirely.

With Madara gone, Alex ignored the approaching army of ninja and vanished. He had sensed a peculiar, ancient aura that belonged to a high-level, multiversal entity. And as the energy dissipated, a few figures not native to the Naruto world appeared. Intrigued, he began his pursuit.

...

Meanwhile, Jian Ran's team fled the Konoha base, taking five rookies along, showcasing more humanity than other ruthless Reincarnators from the Lord God Space. Jian Ran was so powerful she could lift all five rookies with just her mind, allowing the team to escape quickly.

Suddenly, Jian Ran stopped, and the other veterans halted too. Iron Arm asked, "Captain, why'd we stop?"

Before she could respond, a white-haired man appeared, his aura mysterious and intense. His eyes were especially captivating—deep blue like a bottomless lake, drawing them in. But upon closer inspection, he looked like any other ordinary youth.

They hadn't noticed the figures within the giant Susanoo during the battle, so they were unaware of Alex's identity. He had also suppressed his energy, rendering him unremarkable in their perception.

The moment Alex appeared, Yiti pressed a button on his special glasses and announced, "His power level is about 500, probably a regular chunin, but with his unique hair and eye color, he's likely a Kekkei Genkai ninja, so his actual combat strength is probably higher!"

Hearing Yiti's analysis, the group relaxed. Based on the information they had purchased in the Lord God Space, the five of them working together could handle a Kage-level opponent temporarily, so a mere chunin, even with a kekkei genkai, wasn't much of a threat.

Iron Arm cracked his knuckles and stepped forward confidently, "Captain, leave this one to me!"

But just as he approached his captain, Jian Ran, he noticed something off—Jian Ran's body was shaking, as if she was facing something utterly terrifying! Though Iron Arm could be reckless, he wasn't foolish. He quickly pulled Jian Ran back, retreating until they were a hundred meters from Alex before Jian Ran finally let out a deep, shaky breath, staring at Alex with horror.

Seeing this, the others also retreated, realizing the gravity of the situation, and even Hua, the gentlest among them, had tears of fear welling up in her eyes.

Unlike the clueless rookies, the veterans knew exactly what had just happened, which left them feeling hopeless. Jian Ran had chosen the immortal cultivation enhancement path, which was weak early on but grew exponentially stronger with time. She was currently the strongest in the team, focusing specifically on sword cultivation, which allowed her to target not just the physical body but the soul itself.

Because of this, Jian Ran had an extremely sharp sense of danger, allowing her to instinctively perceive nearby threats. But this sense also had a flaw—her nervousness increased with the level of the threat. Though she had faced creatures that could level entire nations without faltering, here, she was so overwhelmed with dread she couldn't even move.

The fact that Jian Ran was frozen meant that this seemingly ordinary man was at least strong enough to destroy a world.

While they observed Alex, he was observing them too. He first noticed Yiti's peculiar glasses, which looked oddly familiar—they resembled the scouters from Dragon Ball Z. Observing their mismatched attire and whispered conversations, Alex quickly confirmed his suspicions.

So, these people were reincarnators? From Lord God Space? Some other multiverse organization?

Through his Six Eyes, he saw dense, transparent threads binding the ten of them, both restricting and stabilizing them to prevent rejection from this world. This must have been the constraint left by the Lord God.

Watching them gear up as if to fight, Alex smiled, raised a finger, and fired a small, white energy sphere. It broke the sound barrier instantly, obliterating everything in its path until it punctured a distant mountain.

With a calm smile, he said, "I'd advise against it. You might die."

The reincarnators stood frozen, staring at the massive ravine in silence.

No wonder the Lord God Space was so generous with this mission. How could they possibly win? Were they supposed to bash their heads against him?

Jian Ran, no longer maintaining her icy demeanor, swallowed hard. Her expression was far from calm as she stammered, "W-Who… who exactly are you?"

Ignoring her question, Alex simply asked, "Reincarnators?"

Their faces paled. They'd known Alex was strong, but the fact that he could easily identify them as reincarnators was unprecedented. Even in the previous immortal world, those ancient cultivators hadn't been able to detect their nature.

Alex had an idea and began drawing symbols with energy, forming a barrier with an undying rune he had recently developed from observing Madara's Edo Tensei form. It incorporated elements from the A Certain Magical Index world and the core runes of his teleportation ability, allowing cross-world communication.

Within moments, Alex threw ten runes toward the reincarnators, each one merging into their bodies. Feeling the marks' connection to him even within his mirrored dimension, Alex grinned and addressed them, "I propose a trade. Take my mark back to the Lord God Space, and I'll reward you. Trust me, these rewards will be invaluable to you."

Jian Ran hesitated and nervously asked, "Can we refuse?"

She couldn't know what the mark was, but carrying it back to the Lord God Space, the enemy of the figure before her, might well be a death sentence.

Alex answered with a smile, "I'm afraid not." Seeing their faces go pale, he added, "No need to look so grim. This isn't as bad as you think. The mark won't harm you. On the contrary, thanks to the undying rune, your energy will replenish faster, and you'll gain accelerated healing."

The reincarnators checked their status and immediately noticed their energy recovering at an almost unlimited rate. However, instead of being pleased, they grew more apprehensive. After countless life-or-death experiences, they knew one thing: if anyone offered aid without strings attached, what they expected in return was bound to be far greater.

Through Domain Expansion: Unlimited Void, Alex could sense their worries and chuckled, "Relax, I don't want anything from you. My goal is the Lord God Space. If I can sense the mark cross-world, I'll know when you're back. From there, I can enter Lord God Space myself."

Seeing the reincarnators' anxious faces, he continued, "My target is the Lord God Space, not you. Consider the benefits my little gift, just a trivial thing to me."

They fell silent, stunned. This guy was trying to infiltrate the Lord God Space? With abilities like mind-reading and immense power, it was clear he knew the strength of the Lord God yet still intended to invade it. That meant he might even be on the same level.

Without sparing them another glance, Alex teleported back to Konoha. Although he had his eye on the Lord God Space, he'd wait for now.

The Lord God Space, by his estimation of its energy signature, was a multiverse-level entity, something beyond his current abilities. But with his growth rate, it wouldn't be long before he could test its defenses.

The reincarnators sat in stunned silence even after he left. Task 1 was complete, yet they couldn't find it in themselves to celebrate. They'd just faced the ultimate boss, who spared them and asked them to return with his mark. The implications were daunting.

Since they were now caught in an even greater dilemma, forced into the clash between this mysterious powerhouse and the Lord God Space, they were likely about to become the agent of this formidable stranger within the Lord God Space itself.

Hua's face scrunched up, her voice trembling, "What do we do? If we go back to the Lord God Space with this mark, it might just wipe us out."

She wasn't wrong; it was the same worry that kept everyone silent. Although the stranger hadn't mentioned it, they all knew that there was a high chance the Lord God Space would react this way.

Since the Lord God Space had marked the stranger as an intruder, it surely wouldn't allow any trace of his power to slip through its defenses.

Jian Ran gripped her sword tightly, the usually steady blade now trembling with her nerves. After taking a deep breath, she said with a hint of resignation, "There's nothing we can do. The gap between us and him is just as vast as the gap between us and the Lord God. We can only return to the Lord God Space and hope it doesn't kill us outright."

Noticing the increasingly somber mood, Hai, one of the brothers, broke the silence, "Exactly. We might as well not overthink it. If the Lord God doesn't destroy us outright, then with the gifts we've received from this powerful stranger, our strength could leap, maybe even make us one of the top teams in the Lord God Space."

Iron Arm, scratching the back of his head, added, "That's right. Just like the man said, his so-called 'small gifts' are huge boons to us."

...

Just as Alex returned to the village, he encountered the Leaf ninja squad who had just returned from their mission. Both sides stared at each other, and an awkward silence fell over them.

Suddenly, from the group of Leaf ninjas, a familiar figure scrambled forward, his face twisted in anger as he pointed a trembling finger at Alex, "You… You imposter! How dare you show up here?"

Alex squatted down to look at the legless Obito, picking up a stick and poking at his mess of hair. "Why wouldn't I? Not like any of you can do anything about it."

Kakashi and Rin emerged from the Leaf squad, their expressions complicated as they faced the man who had fought beside them for months only to reveal himself as an imposter. No, it wasn't even a betrayal—they were never truly allies.

"Obito…" Rin's voice was filled with mixed emotions as she reflexively said Obito's name. This sight only made Obito, being poked repeatedly by Alex, even more furious. He flushed red before letting out a defeated sigh, "Rin, I'm the real Obito. I'm the real Obito!"

Seeing Rin, Alex couldn't help but smile warmly, still holding a fondness for her. "Rin, my name is Alex. No need to call me Obito anymore."

Although he now looked more handsome and refined, Rin could still recognize traces of the person he used to be. Before she could respond, however, another white-haired figure, Jiraiya, stepped in front of her, watching Alex with a wary gaze, "Who are you? What was your purpose in infiltrating the Leaf disguised as Uchiha Obito?"

Alex looked at Jiraiya, well aware of the sage's reputation. Though Jiraiya wasn't among the strongest by the end of the series, he was undeniably a top-tier mentor. He had nurtured talents like Pain, the Fourth Hokage, and even Naruto, the future hero of the Leaf.

Amused, Alex continued to poke the fuming Obito while responding, "I'm just a traveler. No ill intentions toward Konoha."

Jiraiya frowned deeply, gesturing toward the injured Kakashi and the dismembered Obito. "This is what you call 'no ill intentions'?"

Finally stopping his teasing of Obito, Alex stood and snapped his fingers. A silent, invisible force spread out, binding everyone present in place within a suspended space.

A second snap followed, and with it, an invisible blade of space sliced through the area, halving every Leaf ninja save for Jiraiya, Rin, and a select few. Blood poured from their wounds, then immediately froze in place.

"You!" Jiraiya's eyes burned with rage, horrified to see Alex eliminate all his comrades in an instant.

As Jiraiya lunged forward, Alex effortlessly halted him in place, chuckling, "This, now this is malice. Understand?"

Before Jiraiya could retort, Alex snapped his fingers a third time. This time, instead of further devastation, the bodies of the Leaf shinobi seamlessly reconnected with their severed limbs, their wounds healed. Even Kakashi's lost legs and Obito's bisected body regenerated within seconds, returning them to their prime condition.

The Leaf shinobi were dumbstruck, staring wide-eyed. This kind of power was beyond comprehension—it made even Tsunade's legendary healing jutsu seem trivial.

Alex smiled again, "See? I told you I had no ill intentions. Look, even Kakashi and Obito's injuries are all better now. Just… don't test me, alright? Otherwise, next time, I might just let that 'malice' become real."

Jiraiya, after a long breath, managed a wry smile. "Alex… Welcome to Konoha."

Shortly after, the Leaf's top leaders gathered in the Hokage building. But today, it wasn't the Third Hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen, or any of the village advisors presiding over the meeting. Instead, a mysterious stranger sat at the head of the table.

Of course, they already knew from Jiraiya who this figure was—Alex, the one with power even greater than Uchiha Madara.

Without a doubt, Madara could destroy the entire ninja world in days if he wished, but this Alex could likely do it in minutes, his spatial powers surpassing even the Flying Thunder God technique.

Alex, sitting in the most prominent spot, cleared his throat and asked, "Is everyone here?"

Sarutobi immediately replied, "Yes, Lord Alex, everyone is here."

Alex nodded and continued, "Alright, let's begin the meeting. But first, I'll say a few things."

All eyes turned from Sarutobi Hiruzen to Alex, the air heavy with a sense of unease.
