The rain poured down covering every inch of the village. It beat against the roofs of the homes and shops. The River raged and rushed, threatening to spill over the banks. Lily lay against the tree she had climbed, she had fallen asleep waiting for nightfall. The rain had forced its way through the thick branches. The water pooled in her hood and spilled down her back. The cold rain water shocked Lily awake. She jumped and nearly fell out of the tree. She caught herself on a branch. Lily took this time and angle to peer out through the leaves. She noticed the guards' rotation was on the last change before it restarted. If she was going to get into the office now was her chance. The rain was welcomed, she could now use it to cover her tracks and any sound she may make. Lily stood up and climbed a few branches high. She could see the path she needed to take to reach the roof. Lily closed her eyes and called on her brother once again. A shadow climbed around her and a form began to take shape. But this form was different, It was one of a woman. Her hair was gray and had wrapings down her arms covering her fingers. "Sister!?" Lily nearly shouted. "We don't have time, father sent me to aid you." Lily was taken aback, "Aid me how Sarah? And with what?" Lily questioned. Sarah's form shifted around Lily and pointed out toward the village. "Something has cast foul magic here. Whatever it is you are trying to do, you will need my skills more than Ethoe's." Lily frustratingly sighed, "If Father feels I need it, then so be it." A horn blew and echoed down the streets of the village. "HELP! PLEASE HOLY KNIGHTS HELP!" Knights rushed to the front gate with their weapons drawn. One Knight stepped out in front of the others, "What is the meaning of this?" The man collapsed to the ground, " Please monsters are attacking and killing everyone!" The knight grabbed the man and lifted him, "Pull yourself together, you aren't making sense!" The knight smacked the man. The man held his face and began to whimper, "Please they are all dying." The knight dropped the man and walked down the street until he saw a figure stumble out from a corner. The knight drew his sword and raised it. "Speak! Are you running for help as well?" the knight shouted, but no reply was made. The figure turned and began to run full sprint at the knight. Once the figure grew closer to the torches, the figure's face was revealed. It was a decomposing mess, its face was crushed and covered in blood. The jaw hung from its head and produced a high-pitched wheezing sound as if it was trying to breathe. As it drew closer to the knight, The knight swung his sword and cut the creature in half from its left shoulder to its right hip. The other knights walked to the creature and began poking and looking it over. "Bite marks?" one knight asked. "No." "Charm, spell brand, and hex bag?" "No." Lily watched with some amazement. The knights there began picking the creature apart. "It is one of the knights that was posted here at the village." One Knight said. "Yes. his under armor is the same for the outer region." The knights stepped back, "You go and inform the Commander and elite Panagiot it seems we have an undead out break. One knight took off toward the office at full speed. Another knight pulled a horn out and began to blow it as the rest marched in the office grounds. The knights grabbed shields, and spears and moved into formation. Other knights that were outside began to merge into formation as well. A scream cut through the rain's downpour. Lily turned to see, and to her shock a group of villagers were running toward the the office. Behind them was a large mass of undead clawing and slashing at the group, all while the flames of the village began to reach higher casting an orange glow into the sky. Lily's heart began to race, the talons of fear began to grip around her core. "Still your heart little sister, I shall ensure you survive this night," Sarah whispered.
