Chapter 10 - Awakener Association (2)

Hearing my father's voice of disbelief, I got up from the ground and left the training field.

"Wait here; I'll bring something that might make you reconsider whether this is real or not."

I jumped from the training field to the open window on the third floor and immediately into my room.

"Look at him; he jumped more than 8 meters high. For a normal human, is that reasonable?"

"Maybe, because from the start, he was someone who could do anything."

...

Looking to the right and left, I jumped down from the window again to the training field so that no one would see the two swords I was carrying.

Upon seeing the dual swords, my father and grandfather were shocked; they were top-level awakeners and certainly couldn't miss the aura emanating from these two blades.

"My father and grandfather seem to understand what I want to show you."

"These two swords are called Arc and Arch. They are dual swords created from the core of Angel and Demon marble, possessing both holy and demonic energy. I can't let go of one of them, because holding just one would lead to big problems; the demon sword can drive its wielder into madness. Honestly, I never carry this black sword without the white one—I'm afraid I might die."

My grandfather and father approached me and tried to touch one of the swords, but nothing happened.

"You're just scared. This sword does have a strange aura, but there's no way it will go crazy just from being touched; there must be more to it, right?"

"Don't worry, Fajar. Can your grandfather examine these two swords?"

I nodded in agreement and handed the two swords to my grandfather.

When he touched the swords, he nodded as if affirming something.

"Yes, this is indeed a dangerous weapon. Let's see its true ability."

Crossing the two swords, my grandfather closed his eyes and released a massive Aura Energy, causing all of us to be pushed back two meters in an instant.

"That's crazy!" was the first thing my father exclaimed upon witnessing this.

As the powerful Aura was unleashed, the black sword began to emanate a dark aura, merging with my grandfather's energy—a dark, cruel, and dangerous aura that even made my father tremble.

At the same time, when the black aura appeared, a golden light emerged from the white sword, enveloping us all in coolness, calmness, and courage.

The white aura began to merge with my grandfather's aura, while the black aura created a perfect harmony of Yin and Yang, of black and white—a perfect balance that was clearly visible to all of us. In that moment, the two auras truly merged perfectly, enveloping my grandfather in a transparent aura. However, not long after the transparent aura appeared, my grandfather's aura exploded, throwing us all back and sending him crashing to the ground, his laughter shaking the sky.

"HAHAHA! I see! So this is what I saw at that time! Yes, it should be like this—a promise made in that time has finally arrived!!"

My grandfather got up from the ground and looked at me with satisfaction.

"Alright, I will train you to increase all your stats before you return to school. If this is the power you should obtain, then those many stat points must be acquired. Starting tomorrow, you will begin entering the Tower with me."

Upon hearing my grandfather's words, everyone on the field was shocked. My father and brother tried to sway my grandfather to change his mind.

"If that's the case, give me some advice. How did he complete his task without entering the Tower?"

What my grandfather said was indeed correct; the only place to gain stat points that high is by climbing the Tower—there is no alternative.

"Fajar, how many of your current stats should be increased?"

"I currently have a total of 12 stats: 5 normal stats, 3 rare stats, 3 unique stats, and 1 legendary stat."

Upon hearing my words, my brother could only laugh strangely.

"That's crazy! One rare stat is three times harder to achieve than normal stats, and unique stats are almost 6-10 times harder than normal stats. Yet you have legendary stats? How difficult are they to level up?"

I opened the profile menu and explained, "Actually, it's not that hard. Each rare stat has its own requirements, right? Well, if you level up all the normal stats, the rare stats will increase over time. But as mentioned, it takes three normal stats to increase one rare stat. For legendary stats, it's like leveling up all the unique stats, plus one stat that is equivalent to a legendary stat, along with the main stat that appears in every rare and unique stat."

Listening to my explanation, they began to understand the concept of Legendary Stats a little better. In this family, I was the only one who had managed to achieve Legendary Stats; even my grandfather and father had only obtained 2 Unique Stats.

"Three Unique Stats can create 1 Legendary Stat? Those words can really excite this old man again."

Of course, who wouldn't want to acquire the legendary stats that are always mentioned in the Tower? Even for pioneers like my grandfather, they would surely go crazy upon hearing that.

"Then isn't that even more troublesome? Increasing 12 stats by 50 points in just 8 days is impossible! No, if you leave tomorrow, you'll only have 7 days until you go back to school."

What my brother said was correct; in 8 days, it was impossible to easily increase 12 stats, especially since they all needed to be raised.

"Is there a punishment if this task is not completed?"

I shook my head in response.

"Then what is the reward for this task?"

"It says here that all stats increased during the process of completing the task will be multiplied by 2."

Upon hearing my answer, everyone was shocked.

"Increase the stats obtained during the mission process by 2x? If we raise the Legendary Stats by 50, it's impossible for the normal, rare, and unique stats to remain at only 50. They must exceed 100! And that will also be multiplied by 2? Do you know who gave you the task?"

"It only says 'Blind Old Creature.'"

Hearing my words, my grandfather was taken aback; he seemed quite astonished by what he had just heard.
