Sean Khan started the discussion with a solemn tone.
"In just three days, our supply of spirit pills have depleted quite a sum. The clan's demand for these pills have skyrocketed. If we do not find a way out of this, the Khan's growth will be greatly impeded!"
Tyson nodded agreeingly.
"Yes, although we've expected this from the get go, we did not account for it to be this bad!" A Khan leader piped up.
"Although we do not have a medicine man, the Khan fortune should have enough to obtain some for us to get us by. Though, we'll need a new medicine man soon." Tyson nodded.
"Yes, this will do." Sean smiled bitterly.
"You all see things too simply!" He gazed at everyone.
"Almost everyone in Starlight, even travelling merchants, no longer wish to trade with the Khan! Meaning, even if we had the money, we can't get any pills from anywhere anymore!"
Tyson's expression changed immediately.
"Damn it!"
"This is an important matter! Were we to lose our pill supply, the other clans will
catch up and threaten us soon enough. Before long, the Khan will soon be annexed! Besides, there must be a conspiracy going on, why wouldn't the merchants sell to us?" Tyson continued.
"It must be a Sun clans' scheme!" Someone expressed from afar.
"No doubt. Only the Sun could pay off the merchants like this, no other clan would dare do this to us," another added.
Listening in on the debate, Zeke could not help but frown.
Even if the medicine men are often revered, there are currently not enough in Starlight.
Most of them had been taken by the Sun long ago.
A solemn air flooded the Khan hall.
Sean could do nothing to satiate the sighs and frustrations of his clansmen.
Even though he was an Agile, he could not make pills.
Tyson took notice of Zeke's silence.
He asked, "Zeke my boy, what do you think we should do?"
Tyson did nothing but asked emptily, yet, this drew the attention of all the leaders to Zeke.
Although his age was young and his body was average, he emanated an ungodly aura.
Going from nothing but a b*stard to the level he is now, many knew now to now expect nothing less and to underestimate the young heir.
Almost everyone thought Zeke had a plan to bring the Khan out of this rut.
Zeke could only feign a smile, "I understand this is a difficult situation," he said.
"Oh? You too, huh?" the Khan leaders sighed, slightly disappointed.
They knew it was a difficult situation, medicine men were a rarity after all. Besides, no matter how powerful Zeke was to them, he could not make pills nor invite a medicine man.
However, Sean realized something in Zeke's answer.
He had said it was a difficult situation, not an impossible one, meaning there was at least a solution, somewhere somehow.
He let out a hopeful expression, and asked Zeke another question again,
"Zeke boy, you have a solution, don't you?"
Zeke scanned the crowd, and nodded,
"Yes, even if it's quite troublesome. It's something at least!" Hearing this, the Khan leaders felt a wave of surprise, did Zeke really have a solution?
"The other clans, and the merchants who won't trade with us do not deserve our attention. They will regret it sooner or later. All 1 ask is to have about two days' time, and I will be able to solve the Khan's supply issue."
"Master, this is no small matter! It involves the future of the Khan! Are you confident you can handle this?" some Khan leaders asked, they were questioning Zeke'a capability.
