The king heard their words, and his expression turned sour with each sentence they spoke. Having had enough, he slammed his hand on the throne arm. "Enough!" he commanded in a deep voice, turning to the first princess. "Do you know what this lover of hers looks like?, his name as well" he inquired.
"This..." the princess stammered. "I do not know," she replied, not daring to meet the king's gaze.
"Then say nothing more!" The king's anger flared up.
"Your Majesty! Your Majesty!" the palace enchanter barged in and quickly went down on his knees. "Your Majesty, the... the princess!"
"What happened? Where is she?" The king questioned immediately.
"Your Majesty, the princess... she's outside."
"Why isn't she in? Did you dare stop her from entering the palace?"
"No, Your Majesty. The princess was... was suspended in the sky."
