I was turning 25 today, still a virgin, and always lamenting my life for not managing to be successful like millions of others.
After a small party with some otaku friends, where we traded ideas and options for games, anime, novels, and all that stuff, I was heading home. But I didn't have anything to offer, being completely obsessed with the anime *DxD*. If I could enter that world, I'd kill Issei for his naivety.
Those girls are thirsty, desperate for someone to satisfy their desires in every way possible, yet all Issei does is scream "Oppai, oppai..." Is this justice? NO, IT'S NOT FAIR!
*Sigh*, no matter how much I scream in my mind and hope to go there, it's futile. I know it's just fan fiction. How many times have I read about heroes going there and doing whatever they wanted? Even the new author on the internet writes whatever he likes. Man, that's freedom...
On my way back, I stopped at a pastry shop and bought a cake with two candles shaped like numbers. I walked out and trudged home, feeling like a soulless husk.
Just then, something flashed in my face. Turning toward the source of the light, I squinted. "Truck-kun, is that you?" There he was, as if slapping Newton in the face and denying all possible laws of physics, Truck-kun came at me full speed.
"So this is my destiny," I said then I dropped the cake on my hand and took a "T" At least it's a cool way to die.
In the blink of an eye, everything went dark. The impact should have killed me, but instead, I found myself floating in a void. My mind raced. Was this it? Had I finally escaped my mundane life?
A voice echoed through the darkness, booming and omnipotent. "You have been chosen. Your wish to enter a different world has been granted. And you now has two more wishes."
My heart pounded. Two more wishes? This was my chance to shape my new life perfectly. I took a deep breath, gathering my thoughts.
"Then my first wish is to look like Sukuna from *Jujutsu Kaisen* and have the same power as him."
Not going to lie, he is one of my favorite characters. Even though he's a villain, he's top-tier, not some canon fodder.
The voice responded, "Granted. You will have Sukuna's appearance and power. But you will be born before the canon starts and as a Devil of the Underworld."
I felt a rush of excitement. Being a Devil in this world would give me a significant advantage.
"For my second wish," I continued, "I want to retain all my memories and knowledge from my previous life."
The voice responded, "Even without that wish, you will have your previous life memories. So tell a different wish."
"Is that so?" I pondered for a moment. "Then I want something like Wisdom King Raphael from *Tensura*."
"Granted," the voice echoed. "You will have an entity like Wisdom King Raphael to guide and assist you."
A bright light enveloped me, and I felt my consciousness being pulled into a new reality.
"Issei, step aside," I muttered to myself. "There's a new player in town."
