Ren woke up on a white bed.
As he woke up ,he was greeted by Annmarie extremely strong headache.
The bed was extremely comfortable and fluffy.
He looked around the very unfamiliar environment,he found himself in .
Surrounding him were wooden walls and right in front of him was a glass mirror through which he saw that there were bandages all over himself.
The bandages were many ,he looked like a mummy with them covering him up like that.
He felt pains all over his organs but there was one pain that took total priority over the others .
That pain was in his stomach ,it was a terrible feeling,a disastrous predicament we all fear.
It was hunger.
He thought to himself,
"is there anyway I could get food"
As he pondered his possible next moves,his soliloquy was interrupted by the sound of someone opening his door.
The person coming in was a beautiful lady .
Ren was in shock at how one woman could be this beautiful.
He started having fantasies about the two of them together when he spotted her ring.
She wore it exactly on the middle finger,indicating she was married.
His hopes were further damaged when she revealed that she was over 30 years old.
"But she looks so young" thought Ren
The lady revealed herself an Anna ,she was a 5'4 blonde lady with a voluptuous build.
She was the nurse in charge of Ren.
Medicine has taken a lot of tweaks with the use of malice.
A qualified Nurse or Doctor had to understand not just the traditional aspects of medicine but must also have a decent grasp of the workings of poisons and curse.
Doctors who tapped into malice, most of the time converted to Healer Assassins.
It was a subclass of assassins who rather than engage in direct combact would stay back and help administer first aid to any of their injured teammates.
Sometimes ,during desperate circumstances doctors who had not even tapped into malice yet were asked to become Healer Assassins.
Malice increased the physical capabilities of the human body and allowed one to be able to access killing techniques.
But Malice was a source of power for destruction,it was filled with negative emotions and could therefore only destroy and not create .
For this reason there was no such thing as a healing technique,there were only killing techniques.
Though there were existence of artifacts
(Natural occurring substances that were enchanted with malice e.g The gravestone) which when combined with other substances could induce healing.
Poisons also know as temporary curses were as the name suggest ,temporary and could even be cured long before the effects were due to wear off.
Eternal curses also known as permanent curses were way more dangerous,they could not be cured and would never wear off.
Those who were eternally cursed were the only kind of people who were tapped into malice without being subjected into much pain or suffering.
Those who wear eternally cursed did not necessarily need to have a killer intent or instinct in order to use malice.
Eternal curses were also hereditary.
Eight out of ten times,if even just one of the parents had a curse ,every child born by that couple would have inherited the curse.
Though in the case of hereditary,the curse does not awaken within the child until the age of fourteen .
But if the child feels a surplus of negative emotions before that age ,he or she could awaken the curse a lot earlier.
Anna was a very talented nurse,she had applied to become a Doctor in the Northern Regions soon ,she loved her job and was very dedicated to it.
Anna was about to ask Ren about his health but was interrupted by the loud sound of someone banging the door open .
In came Earn Hakira,he came in looking swagger with his hands in his pocket.
This was a much happier version of Earn than the one who was poisoned and battling Bloodfist.
"How did you get in the hospital " asked Anna
"The door was open " replied Earn
"No it wasn't " said Anna confronting him
"We'll it is now " said Earn pointing to the entrance door.
Anna tried to look at the door but was shocked at what she saw.
The door was not opened,it couldn't be,there wasn't a door to be opened in the first place,Earn had ripped it off.
"Hey you liar ,you just ripped off the door "
"Precisely,so the door was opened "
"Why youuu"
Anna wanted to give Earn ,a slap he would remember for the rest of his days.
But Earn just used shadow wall; a killing technique he had used against Bloodfist
The technique made him untouchable.All her attacks would just go through him.
"Woah you're an assailant and if you had that technique why did you just not move through the door rather than cause so much damage"
"Because though it looks like you're going through me,you are actually not ,the technique I am using is like an invisible barrier which rather than stopping attacks ,displaces them away ,it happens so fast that the human brain reads it as just passing through like a ghost and well hands and legs can be displaced easily but not so much buildings as the technique is not built for that, and even if it were it would just send the building flying rather than allow me pass through "
Anna was completely confused by the explanation and Earn could tell that she was confused and so he informed her that she should not think about it too much but rather should just forget about it.
"Anyways I'll be taking Ren with me"
"I'm sorry but I don not believe that he is fit to leave yet"
"What come on he's awake now so he should be fine"
"No way I'll be shocked if he could still walk normally"
"Oh lady ,believe ge has been through worse stuff ,I am sure he can walk just fine"
Anna then turns away from Ren and Earn then said
"No way and besides even if he was fine ,you'd still have to sign all the necessary papers"
But as she turned back towards them ,she noticed they had gone
But Earn had left a note on the bed ,Red laid in.
On the paper ,Earn had written the words
"Very important information is at the back of this paper,please turn it over"
Obeying the instructions on the piece of paper ,she turned it over only to see that the back of the paper was
"BLANK"
The lady in annoyance screamed "What the .."

Earn had taken Ren to a small house ,it was different to the one he was familiar with ,the location,the appearance everything was different to the first house he had been brought to by Earn .
Ten barely remembered anything and so he asked Earn to remind him.
After telling him about the fight in Valer,Earn informed Ren that they were in the western federation capital,Donghilu.
"What how did we get all the way here"
"What do you mean ,the west is the smallest of the quartet and you were knocked out for two weeks,so to heal your injuries I brought you to the best possible place in the whole of the west "
"Wait a second ,two weeks "
Ren started to imagine himself motionless for two weeks straight.
He was shocked that he had actually been out cold for two weeks,he wondered what happened to him.
At that point ,he began to recall a flash of memories,how he was about to kill Bloodfist but was stopped by Earn,
Instantly after remember that incident,Ren looked directly at Earn
"How could you"
"What do you mean"
"You stopped me from killing Bloodfist and you were aware that he was the one who killed my father"
"How do you know his name"
"That's not important ,answer my question first"
"Okay listen ,I know you must be hurt but hear me out,you were emitting malice at scary levels,if you had killed Bloodfist there and then ,then the intense hatred you were feeling could have swallowed you whole"
"And so what?,atleast he'd be dead ,that would have been my justice "
"No that would have been your revenge "
"Yeah maybe it would have ,but who the hell are you to tutor me about vengeance,are negative emotions not your source of strength also ?."
"Its too complicated for you to understand right now ,but trust me ,I did it with your best interest at heart."
"Fine I'll try not to be angry at you."
Earn had expected Ren to be a lot more angry than that but no he was calm about it .
Ren then took in two deep breaths and asked
"You were surprised I knew his name ,meaning you knew his name ,am I right?"
"Yeah you actually got that spot on ."
"Tell me everything there is to know about him."

Queen kaida was riding in her chariot ,she was still highly invested in the search for Hiroki.
She wanted him to answer for his crimes.
As the Queen of the Northern Regions ,she was expected to be highly invested in the religion of her country.
With the amount of dedication she put into her job as ruler and the efficiency at which she worked,her people thought she was as religious as the priests themselves.
But that was not the case.
She shared no belief with the tradition or religion of her country.
It all felt dumb to her.
She found it stupid that her people believed that one man alone created all of existence and that he stayed in a temple that had been abandoned for years and was even beginning to crumble.
She thought of the entire thing as pure hullabaloo.
But though Kaida did not share the beliefs of her people ,she loved her country to a fault and so remained dedicated to her role as a leader even if it meant pretending to care about situations like this.
The whole thing was pure stupidity to her ,she was chasing after a man who crumbled a rusty old building that was already crumbling.
She though tried her best not to question it too much and just focused on delivering.
"We're here my queen" said the man who was driving the Chariot.
She came down of her expensive looking Chariot.
Her Chariot was not the only one though.There we're numerals other Chariots accompanying her.
Each of the Chariots was transporting members of the Northern Regions defense unit .
They were called Moon warriors and were here to protect the Queen.
The Queen was at a castle ,the castle of King Darius of the West located in the western capital ;Donghilu
