(Bryan POV)
I feel really warm and comfortable, is it my bed, I always. A soothing and warm feeling envelopes me. As I open the lid of my eyes, I watch the unfamiliar surroundings and pondered as I don't feel like I know this place as I thought this was my room at the Lotus heart. Being unperturbed I stand up and walk out of the bad as my feet reach the ground, I staggered a bit being uncomfortable and unbalanced center gravity of my body, I still manage to stand straight.
Attacked by many thought my eyes locked into the mirror hanging on the wall, I went to it and looks into the reflection, I am shocked but feel happy as I looks younger these days. "It's not bad at all" as I say this I came to realization, this is not that I became younger but became a teenage again. "It's not bad at all my ass!!" "What happen to me". Feeling panicked as I became my 16years old self.
I still can't utter words as my view linger on the mirror. Suddenly the door to this room opened followed with Grace voice " yo, Bryan you awake", As I was about to respond ,I look into Grace's direction and shocked once again. "Are you an alien impersonator, what happen to Grace and Obi?" I said while readying in a self defense pose."You..you are so rude to your saviour, I should let you back there" Grace responded. "Then why are you skin blue like that,". Still I could not believe her. "This is my second form you dumbass, and if I am an impersonator, you would not be talking like that". Then I realise, that sounds like the truth. Then I just come to terms with my situation.
Then I asked Grace, where am I and also the scene after my collapse. Grace told me that I have been in a rare condition in which human awakened as a sentient beings which will be approved by the veil and most likely needs to treated in this world as Mana heart awakener cannot be cured with a mere 3rd or 5th lvl beings. That's why they brought me to this continent called Atlan. As I was being told more and more, some part became understandable while the other remains mystery and peculiar. I look to the floor and Grace back and forth as if still confuse but now accepting. "I'll show you Obi later" she sighed and told me.
Then I ask her again this time about my younger body condition?." How about my body condition, why am I in this form?". Grace responded "well your mana heart outbreak cannot be cured by simply fixing you body with powerful healer as your original body and your mana heart aren't compatible with each other" "another thing to noted is that if we can't fix your mana heart and make you stay in over world, you will be like a bomb ready to destroy that city". "That's why your awakening are a very rare occurrence and we need to fix it to prevent and bad incident such as natural bombing and dimension break" Grace explained.
"That's doesn't explained why my body like this" I smiled wryly towards her. "Oops..I forget the main point hahaha, your body are still your body but it is preserve using a serum called Incarnation, " she chuckled while continue to talk"This means once the serum injected in your body, you body will crumble to a piece of meat, a size of a fist, then we preserve it in a tank, and it will grow into a healthy body as usual, much stronger and better in just 24 hour, isn't that great"Grace smiled.
After hearing that I had a goosebumps and sweat began profusely on my forehead while I staggered to the ground. "You guys, turn me into a piece of meat and grow my whole body in just 24 hour, what if something was missing", I asked with concern.
"Don't worry about it, people in this world do it as a normal things, I've done it three times in a two hundred and fifty years".she smiled and show me a thumbs up. I sighed again, cannot do anything if this things is normal here. "All clear now, we needs to go see Obi", "All clear, by the way, what types of race are you, sorry I don't wanna sound rude but I can't help it" as I watch her from head to toe. Grace appearance are like an elf from the fairy tail, 6 feet tall with bluish skin but not too obvious with distinguished long ear and azure eyes, and her silver lightwear armor, it's contrasted her just fine. "Grace tilted her head a bit and say "we are called melusine, Bry" she chuckled (That's cute).
When I thought of that, Grace looks shocked but fastly turn her back to me and started walking fastly "le..let's go see Obi". "Umm..yeah..okay" I responded. Then we started walking out of the room, and what feast eyes is the most beautiful view I have ever seen, a long corridor barricaded by a clear blue water and very warm light makes it more majestic, adorned with lots of organism and animals that looks peculiar and never seen before, I was really excited. It's like going in an underwater aquarium, but the different things are, no glasses to separate the water and the corridor. Then being pique my interest I try to touch the water and I could touch it, is this magic, I want to try "Don't even think about it, these animals are sensitive to vibrations and especially a human"
Grace said sternly while I retracted my hands.
While walking and sightseeing, I realize bioluminescence started to happens when I started walking it lights up the corner of the corner following our path, while the water dweller responded with their own lights. This was truly amazing and feel like a dream, I was once wanted to go travel and watch some of the wondrous phenomenal in earth, but now I feel like seeing it in another world or dimension are a great experience too. While walking Grace suddenly talked "loves what you see?, to us this one is kinda boring" "This is boring?, "then what's more intertaining that this?" I asked her. "you know the Niagara Fall right, just imagined it flipped upside down while the river was suspended in the air and people use as a mean to travel everywhere" "or myriad lake, a lake that changes colour depends on The seasons, it also could change someone appearance if you wish and dip inside it".
"Wow, I can't imagine hahaha, maybe it's good or not as you say" I responded. "Well the possibility is there, this is just one continent, not mentioning the other", "there's more!!!???", I turned my head to her direction, "well this Tír na nÓg world is vast, we have 12 gatekeeper in which represent 12 continent, not mentioning the lesser continent". Grace enthusiastically mentioned. "Well some continent cannot be abruptly visited, because some continent have bad blood with each other" She added. (This otherworld are really interesting ) as I pondered. as we walked and talk, I lost in our conversation and at the corner of my eyes, I suddenly noticed more and more people walking through the corridor in which all of them have some light blue skin and same features as Grace.
While walking past Grace, I noticed that all of them bow a bit with respect while uttering word "Beannacht a iníon Mhanann" to Grace. That's when I asked her "are you some sort of royalty here". "Well you could say that, we royalty here are called Children of Mannnan" she responded. "What about Obi?" I asked. "Ahhh...Obi is a bit special and are in higher order than us" "He is the only son of Mannan and rightful owner to the throne of Lae Atlan. "Damn, that man is a crown prince?" I feel really shocked. "Hahaha, I know right but he is stronger than you could think" Grace told me with her serious face. " Do I need to call you princess and him crown price after this?" I asked seriously, "well you don't need to as we treat you as a friend, the same goes for Obi, he hates formality" "owh just in formal event you should do that hahah" she chuckled showing her dimples.
Finally we arrived in front of a large door that adorned with gold and decorated with intricate unknown sea creatures symbol. Grace pushed the door that looks heavy and what I see next is a marvelous sight, A very neat and big room adorned with royalties standard, a long table that made out of azure crystal and the surroundings also very much alike the corridor we been walking few moments ago. The atmosphere was really tranquil and calming. A really handsome guy was at the farthest corner, while looking into some parchment with busy experienced and look to us, he smiled and standup expecting our arrival, the question is who is this guy.
"Yo, I was expecting you guys, you are late sis, anyway how's your room Bryan", I looks towards that handsome man adorned in some sort of like Greece outfit, wondering who is this friendly guy. Then he looked at me and laughed hardly "Hahaha, from your face you must be thinking who am I right, let me introduce myself again, pleasure to meet you Bryan, I am Obesial Mac Mannan, the crown prince of Lae Atlan, " he extended his hands to me and smiled with his controlled posture. With gaping mouth I received his hands while looking him from head to toe. (How?). "Please sit down for now, I'll explain now as my sister don't explain all of this, as he said. Grace look at him menacingly which make him shudder a bit.
"As you can see, we dweller of the sea have two form which is this one the original and the other one the human form" , I nodded while Obi continued, " the human form are formed unnaturally using magic called sigil of transmutation, but not all of us have this form, as a higher form of order we needs to travel to other continent to conduct our business. I nodded once again while throw him some question "then which part explain, why your forms looks so much different while Grace looks the same?" Then he smiled wryly without responding. Grace then smirked and say " because this brother of mine, thinks he is a genius, he feels like he needs to find a true love and not just a person that decide based on appearance, that why he asked for a plump body when he want to make his second form".
"Damn, that was so called dramatic yet romantic" I said while chuckling, while Obi face turned beet red. This guy's was a flower boy all along. We continued our conversation in a slow manner while I ask them from time to time, "if both of you are royalty then why did they send you guys to do the dangerous mission?" "Well the answer to that is, at first the mission was really not that risky but we never thought that guy have underhanded techniques" Grace talked. "But don't you worry, even like that there are two guards that follows us without we noticing, but they only appear in case our situation is really in danger" Obi continued. "Our aunty also give me a lot of backup plan such as the graded pills and the silver sword" "well talking about our aunty he would like to meet you 1 week from now, as she have some bussiness to attend at other continent". Grace conveyed.I nodded as a mean of approval.
Talking with them sure answer all of my question except a few. And one particular question stuck in my head after all this moment. Looking into Obi and Grace face I decided to face my fear. Obi and Grace seems to know my sudden silent and they are ready to face my one question. "Hey, I just have one particular question that I need to hear an answer from you guys. "Let's hear it" Obi responded. " When Can I return to earth ?", I say nonchalantly while both of them have an understanding experience, the Obi answered with solemn expression "for now, you can't as your body cannot withstand the power of space crack, you need to be at least 6th or 7th level being to be able to pass the Great Veil". As I was about to speak Grace added "I know what you been thinking, it's about our level right on how we can withstand, the answer is simple" "our body are original which have been accustomed to space channeling since we were children, but yours was an ordinary human being just a few days ago, to add up yours also artificially made body that's why". As accepting the truth I became silent and Obi being worried added "don't worry we will help you to achieve that level even though it takes time, we will surely grow together". Then I smiled to both of them as a gratitude for helping me out.
Then I asked again, "I hope I am not rude but, why are guys are treating me nicely and too friendly?" Grace and Obi looked at each other then to me, Obi talked first " you know, our mission was suppose to go there eliminate Macius, while remain unknown as much as we can" "we also should not prevent any harm from civilian like you from this outbreaker to maintain the veil". "And we were supposed to be erasing your memories from all of those incident"Grace added. "But it seems my manaheart incident change it all?" "Yea, my friend, once this happen that civilian are now our responsibility and provide him a place as a dweller like us". Obi interjected.
Then I nodded as a mean of understanding. "And also this incident was really rare, so congratulations you are now friends with royalty at that, hahaha".Obi smiled and I responded " thank you guys for saving my life" while looking at them. Both of them watch me and just nodded with smile.
"AHH, it's time for our family dinner, why don't you join us Bry" Obi invited me while Grace nodded energetically to me with sparkling eyes. " Can I?", "of course!!!" Both of them responded uniformly, I accepted their invitation but I am curious why are they so enthusiastic. Let's just enjoy our dinner proceed smoothly, I thought simply. Then we went straight to their dining room, as I passes through the corridor, I noticed that all of the people here are melusine while there are no sighting of a human. Which makes me wonder if this continent are only exclusive to the melusine and the other sea races."Guys, I am curious, is there no human other than me here?", "owh there are but human are really minority race here"Obi responded.
"Owh is there a specified place where only human reside in this whole place" I try asking to know more. "Not on Seaking Palace, here you are maybe the 32th human that lives in this palace" Grace said. "That's all, I thought it could be more maybe hundreds," I voiced my opinion. "Well, this is a Seaking Palace and not all people especially human have the privilege to be part of the Seaking Palace Resident, and all the human that lives here are special, this include you", Grace pointed me. Then we continue towards the dining room.
When we open the door to the dining room, I was mesmerized, as a whole long table decorated with lots of food that's looks exquisite yet looks delicious. And at the dining room sit another two woman melusine, which I don't yet know their affiliation towards this two.
