Five months later...
I was on boarding school and thank God manage to forget anything about Uncle Ray and my disappointment with The Mysterious Man.
I tried to forget all his promises and live a new life well.
I arrived at the dormitory after class and found a letter tucked under the door. Again, there was no mention of the sender, which has happened repeatedly for the almost five months I've been here.
It piqued my curiosity, so I opened it and read the contents.
[Don't you want to meet? Where's your favorite place? How about the rooftop? I'll see you there at four.]
I looked at my watch, which showed just over three o'clock. Not having much time, I abandoned relaxing and headed to the campus to meet this secret admirer.
"Ioris? What a coincidence that you're here. I almost went to the dormitory to pick you up." My roommate looked panicked and grabbed my hand.
"What's wrong, Paula? Is there a problem?"
