Chapter 64 - Chapter 64

I exited the little cave to see Zinnia in the same position. But crying silently.

"Little Zinnia. I'm sorry." I squatted next to her and patted her head. She's only a child. Even if she has goblin blood. She's mostly human…

"Zinnia… I'm sorry… I have to do this…" I started the process of binding her Soul. A slave seal that will ensure she won't hurt anyone I hold dear. Or for her to hurt herself.

Zinnia then looked at me with her black eyes. "M-master…".

I patted her head. "Call me Jason." Ill make sure to keep my promise to Petunia. Ill take care of this innocent goblin to the best of my abilities.

She nodded. Then I carried her. Her head on my shoulder. "Close your eyes little Zinnia. Until I tell you to open them. Understood?"

Zinnia only nodded and did as was told. I started climbing the stairs of the dungeon. The System helping me navigate it. My memory was good as well, but just to be safe.

I planted a bomb made by my Grandmaster Fire Mage Class in every floor. I need to destroy this place lest other Goblins find it. And another tragedy occurs. Not That it will stop tragedies from happening…

After we exited the dungeon. I turned back and snapped my finger. One by one the bombs I planted started a chain reaction that incinerated everything within. The dungeon caved in. Zinnia looked at the destruction and started tearing up.

"Mama…" she just silently cried on my shoulder.

I patted her back. Then went straight to where Eleanor was.

Eleanor was standing, facing the direction of the cave. When she saw me she smiled brightly and came running at me. Only to notice the green goblin in my arms.

"Why are you carrying a goblin?" Eleanor asked. Tilting her head in confusion.

"And Why does it have hair?" Eleanor was about to touch her hair. Zinnia turned around and tried to chomp Eleanor's hand. Compared to Eleanor. Zinnia was too slow.

Eleanor was about to slice her head off but I stopped her with Soul transmission. I told her all about what happened down there. Eleanor stopped in her tracks and closed her eyes. A few second passed for her to digest this influx of information. When she came to she looked at Zinnia with pity.

"Poor girl…" Eleanor said this and began tearing up.

I turned to look at Zinnia "Little Zinnia. Eleanor is your friend now. So be nice to her."

Zinnia glared at me for a bit. Then nodded.

"Good girl. Have this." I brought a piece of candy from my ring. Zinnia looked at it then back at me.

"Try it. Eat." She grabbed the candy and sniffed it a little. Licked it. The ate it whole. Her face when she was chewing on it was adorable to say the least.

She gulped it down then looked at me with indifference . "More."

I obliged.

After gorging on all kinds of sweets. Her belly was bulging a bit and she burped contentedly. Zinnia was lying on her back facing the sky.

"Mama Mama! Look!" Zinnia pointed at the vast space with stars glittering in brilliance. It was the first time I saw her smiling…

"Mama? Oh… Mama… Mama~… Mamaaaaaaaaaa~…Waaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh."

Zinnia started crying for her mother. She cried for hours on end. She only stopped after losing consciousness from the grief.

I carried her with me. And we went for a small Hill in the distance, then set up camp.

After I laid Zinnia down to rest on a bed. I spent the night sewing clothes for her. The poor thing only had rags. I had to make something.

Luckily, I had a Tailor Class. Can you believe it? This system has everything! Anyways I brought the materials and with a spell I made for 20 sets of clothing. Everything from dresses to casual wear. I had a Lot Of fabrics and monster skins that I didn't worry.

I instructed Eleanor to take Zinnia to the river. To clean her up. The poor thing must've never taken a shower in all her years down there.

After I asked her. I exited the tent and went to the top of the Hill. I dug a grave for Petunia using earth manipulation magic.

I waited till dawn. When it was sunny enough, I neared the tent where Zinnia slept. Eleanor was already there.

"Zinnia come on get up. Its already morning." Eleanor was pleading for Zinnia to wake up.

"Hehee. Too comftable. No wakey…" Zinnia said. Sounding a little sleepy still.

"Good morning Eleanor. Good morning Zinnia." I entered the tent and said. Eleanor welcome me with a bright smile. Zinnia shook when she heard me. Immediately woke up and sat on her knees, facing me.

I noticed the change of Zinnia's Behavior when I walked in. The slave seal I planted in her wasn't the cause of this. It must be her mother talking to her yesterday.

I sat Beside Zinnia and patted her head. "Zinnia. Yesterday, I promised your mother that I will take care of you. Eleanor here is my woman. She will help me with that. Understand?"

Zinnia only nodded.

"Good. For now, listen to her and do as she says. Eleanor will never hurt you. She's going to take care of you. Understand?"

Zinnia nodded again.

"Say yes, I understand."

"Y-yes I understand." Zinnia said While looking down. She must be scared of me…

"Good." I patted her head. Then I turned to Eleanor.

"Dear. Will you please go to the river?"

"Of course love." Eleanor gave me a sweet smile. I refrained from Kissing her there. Since Zinnia might Question us about it.

"Okay little Zinnia. Lets go." Eleanor offered her hand. Zinnia was reluctant at first. But when she looked at me smiling at her. She relented and grabbed Eleanor's hand.

After they left. I laid down and took a nap.

Eleanor's POV

"Wahahhaha~ Water every where! Too much Water! Hahahahha!" The little goblin kept on playing in the river. She's such an unruly child, but I let her be.

After 10 minutes of constant playing I called to her "Come, little Zinnia. Let me clean you up properly." I gestured for her to come to me. She ignored me and continued playing.

"Want me to tell Jason that you've been a bad girl?".

Zinnia froze. She looked to me, on the verge of crying. I panicked. "P-p-please d-d-d-don't!" Zinnia said with misty eyes.

She's too afraid of him for some reason… I can use this I guess hehee~.

"I won't tell if you listen to me." I genuinely smiled at her. She really is just a child.

Zinnia nodded. Then obediently closed in on me. I stripped her rags and threw them away. I have some cute clothing that my dear Jason made for her. She's a little shorter than girls her age. She's developing nicely though. Her Dark green skin is surprisingly smooth. Goblins tend to be rough and disgusting, With a lighter green color.

Her Dark crimson hair Is pretty too. Short like a Boy. It made her look extremely cute~!

I started cleaning myself as well. Zinnia looked at me with intrest.

"Booby big! Like mama!" she commented.

I blushed a little. "You'll have big breasts like these too when you grow up."

"R-really!" Zinnia looked at me with starry eyes.

"Hahaha~ yes really~." I said to her.

Zinnia bared her teeth and squinted her eyes. She looked like a goblin when it finds prey. I guess this is how she smiles? It creeped me a little not going to lie. It looked perverted…

After we dried up we went to the river bank. I dressed then turned to Zinnia and dressed her. When she wore her underwear she looked like she was about to leave. "We're still not done Zinnia.".

Zinnia looked back at me like im stupid. "This cloth good no?" my lips twitched a little.

"You need to wear this on top little Zinnia." I showed Zinnia a frilly white dress.

After she dressed.she looked a little uncomfortable. I shook my head and summoned a Body mirror from my ring.

"Zinnia, look."

Zinnia looked at the mirror with a blank expression. She looked at her self from head to toe. Then she fixated on her face.

"Hair like mama. Eye like mama. Nose like mama." Zinnia then pointed at the mirror and looked back at me.

"Who is this?".

I went behind her. Put my hands on her shoulders. "That's you, Zinnia. Aren't you a pretty little thing?".

"Me? Pretty? Im pretty like mama?" Zinnia was still fixated on the mirror. Looking at her self in confusion.

"Yes… Just like Mama…" I only had this to say…

"Like mama…" And she smiled brightly. Tears began streaming down her cheek. She looked so happy at this moment…
