We rode day and night. Seven days and night of continuous travel on these beasts wasn't too much of a bother. The saddle was comfortable. And us being Vampires, we didn't need much sleep nor were we exhausted. Also cultivation helps.
"Dear. Can you tell me Why you were upset that day?" we were still riding when Eleanor asked this out of the blue. We didn't talk much since our Departure. Mainly because I was in my own head. Distracted…
"Don't worry about it." I simply said.
"How can I not worry? Was it a woman? What did she do?" Eleanor pressed the issue. I sighed.
"Yes. Black hair and green eyes. It reminded me of someone. Happy?" – Jason.
"I-I'm sorry…" – Eleanor.
"Stop!" I yelled at the beasts to stop.
"What is it?" Eleanor asked.
"Do you smell that?" I replied.
Eleanor sniffed the air. "Smoke, and blood… Stale blood."
"Yeah. Follow me." We rode to the source of the smoke.
We arrived at a ransacked village. Looks to be mortals settled here by the looks of it. Straw and mud were the materials of the houses.
Corpses littered the ground. All of them male. Grown men, elderly. And even children…
"How horrible…" Eleanor commented. She wore a sad expression. Normally when you first see scenes like this you vomit in disgust. Vampires are built different I guess.
"Notice something?" I asked While looking around.
"No women…" Eleanor replied after moments.
"Yes…Goblins…" I simply stated. Disgusting vermin! I hate those green fucks with a passion!
"C-can we save the women at least?" Eleanor asked.
"Unlikely. Only thing we can do is burn this village then avenge them. I mostly just want to kill Goblins to be honest." I shrugged. Its unfortunate that we can't save them. But this is the way of the world. The weak die While the strong thrive.
After I burned down the whole village. Mainly so that disease doesn't spread. We started following the tracks of the Goblins. There were hundreds of footprint. The leader must be a hobgoblin. At least one.
After a trek of a day in the directions of the footprint. We saw another village with the same treatment. Men dead. No sign of women. We burned the village down as well…
"We're close." I said to Eleanor. She was feeling hopeless at this point.
"Eleanor. Don't feel guilty." I patted her shoulder.
"Im not… Its just.." I hugged her.
"I know. Be strong for me Eleanor." I kissed her forehead to assure her. She smiled faintly. Then we went on our way.
After 6 hours. We arrived at the entrance of a huge cave. The smell was so disgusting that Eleanor almost had a panic attack.
"T-too many deaths… Too many…" bones of humans and demihumans alike littered the ground. It was a gruesome sight.
"Eleanor. Stay outside. Ill go in." Eleanor grabbed my hand.
"Don't go alone please!" Eleanor was tearing up. I wiped away her tears and said "They're just Goblins. They can't hurt me. Stay a hundred meters away from the entrance. The smell would be lesser there."
Eleanor nodded. Then took the beasts and did as instructed.
I cracked my knuckles. Stretched a little, then brandished my sword and dagger. A maniacal smile creeped on my face. I couldn't help it.
" Been a long time since I did this. Lets savor it for a bit."

Man this dungeon is huge! Thirty four floors and counting!
These Goblins are hardworking huh?
I sliced my way down the dungeon. Goblins were truly pathetic. With their green skin and pointy ears. And especially disgusting faces. I couldn't help but pat my back on a job well done in ridding the world of this menace.
Goblins are quite varied here too. There were shamans as well. Some necromancer as well, using their kin as their undead. After every 5 floor I found a hobgoblin leading his own platoon. Hobgoblins were tall as a teen Boy. More muscular and smarter. Higher cultivation made them mutate. After hobgoblins comes orcs. An Orc must be the leader of this here dungeon.
I arrived at the 49th floor. I looked around to see women in chains. Bloated bellies. The floor was stained with all kinds of fluids. I looked to the women and saw that they were already dead. Their souls left their bodies a long time ago. A high level shaman can make a ritual to prolong the life of these women. Even if their soul already left them. They can still use them as breeding stock.
The same scene every time I go into these goblin dungeons…and you wonder Why I love killing those horrible creatures.
After I did what I had to do. I looked around and saw what seem to be boxes stacked neatly together. Useless diversion.
After taking them down. I saw a hole the size of a goblin. I looked inside to see a naked woman. She seems alive. But she was filled with bruises and lacerations. She was pregnant and laying on her back.
I went inside.
"GAAAAAAHHHHHH!"
I grabbed the neck of what jumped at me. I was about to break its neck when I noticed something.
It had short red hair.
The thing was trying to stab me and claw at my hand. Useless really.
"Noooo! Please don't hurt her! Don't hurt my Zinnia!" The red headed woman shouted at me with teary eyes.
I looked back at the goblin. It has the same features as that woman, but greener. The goblin was still glaring at me.
" Don't hurt Mama! Don't hurt Mama!" it kept saying over and over. The dagger broke and it still tried to claw at me.
I used my sword to see what's between its legs. My brain short-circuited. There was a fucking vagina Instead of the grotesque dick these creatures had.
A female goblin? What the fuck is going on?
"Please drop her! She's chocking!" I was lost in my thoughts when I noticed I was strangling the thing in my hand. She was grasping for breath.
I dropped her on her butt. After breathing and rubbing her neck. She glared back at me then ran towards the woman. She stood in front of her. Arms stretched.
"Don't hurt Mama!" The Goblins was shaking. Tears streamed down for her black eyes. Her ear weren't as long as other Goblins but still pointy. Her canines were slightly longer than human children. She looked like a mini version of the woman behind her.
"Alright alright. Calm down you two." I said to ease the situation.
"Please don't hurt my little Zinnia! She's only ten! She's not like the other Goblins! She's kind and took care of me! Please don't hurt her! I beg of you…" The woman pleaded for me to spare her little Zinnia as she called it.
'System. What the fuck is that thing?'
[Scanning.]
[A female Goblin. A very rare occurrence. 1 in a billion. You can't find them in the wild because they're killed as soon as they're found. A mutation.]
'She seems to be smarter than other Goblins.'
[She's as smart as a human at the same age. Goblins are 100% pure blooded creatures. But she seems to be 20% goblin and 80% human. If a female is impregnated, no matter the race. It comes out as a goblin.]
'What do you suggest I do with her?'
[Bind her to you Host. She will be a good test subject.]
'That seems cruel… She's just a kid…'
[You can make a beast pact with her.]
'Slavery seal. Beast pact. They're all the same.'
[Yes.]
…
Anyways.
"I promise I wont hurt her." I said the teary eyed woman.
I casted a calming spell on both of them. They were on high alert so I soothed them both. Zinnia went to her mother and hugged her. The woman hugged her back. They looked back at me with trepidation.
